We went back to the hotel after the lake, and I honestly had so much fun. it was great to get away and have fun with my friends.

-Hey, when you get back, there is a dress on your bed for ya. I'm picking you up at 7 :-)
I guess that means that we have our date tonight. I am super excited, but nervous at the same time.
When I got to my room I see a red bag with a box. I open the bag and pull out a red dress that ends about mid thigh. It was so beautiful. it had diamonds lining under the top of it. and then the box held a pair of wedged boots. I put it all on and went to do my nails and makeup. Kaysey helped with my nails while Haley did my makeup. I had on a small diamond ring that was from my 13th birthday. and then the ring that came in the bag. I did my hair in a ponytail and clipped it up so my hair followed over the clip in waves.
by the time I was done it was 6:50. I had taken a shower before I got ready but you didn't need to know that.

While I'm waiting for Luke, my brother comes in my room.
"you look great sis." Louis said.
"thanks Lou. I'm just so nervous. this is my first real date." I whispered.
"I already gave luke the big brother talk. I gave it to everyone because who knows who you are gonna end up with."
"haha very funny." I laughed.
"that's what I'm here for. now Luke is going to knock in 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1."

I was amazed at how he did that. my brother was amazing and I really can't wait until our day. He seems really busy all the time.
I open the door for Luke and he looks amazing. he has on a red button up with a black jacket and black pants. He decided to stick with his jet black vans which I was ok with. at least he isn't completely dressed up.
"Wow. Maddi you look, wow." Luke says.
"thanks Luke. you look amazing too." I smiled.
"well let's get going. reservation is in 30 minutes." Luke says as he grabs my hand.
He says bye to my brother and then pulls me out of the room. He takes me down to the car and opens the door for me. I get in and wait for Luke to start the car.
"you are honestly beautiful Maddi."
"thanks Luke. I can't believe you put this much effort into a date."
"if it's for you, then of course I will. but no guarantees that it's gonna be perfect." He grabs my hand and starts driving.
about 10 minutes later we come up to a really fancy restaurant. it was amazing. it had old Italian culture and I was honestly blown away. Luke comes over and opens my door for me. I step out and look around in awe.
"Luke this is perfect oh my gosh thank you!" I said.
"that's why it took so long on our date. I wanted to make it perfect." Luke said to me.
time skip to the end of the night
Luke was honestly a complete gentleman and he was so sweet. I'm glad I went on that date with him. it was incredible. Luke drove us to a small pond after and that is where we are now.
"so, you actually jumped out of a tree house on to a trampoline!!"
"Yea, I was feeling dangerous." Luke said. He was telling me stories about before I moved.
"I once fell into a dog bath." I said.
"man. that's funny."
"look!" I say pointing to a shooting star.
I silently made a wish while I saw Luke do the same. when he opens his eyes, he looks at me.
I just get caught in his eyes as he stares into mine. soon he is leaning in and so am I.
his breath fans against my face as he gets closer and my breath hitches. soon his lips are on mine and we are kissing. it felt so great. little butterflies in my stomach.
