Popsicle

I woke up with a pounding headache and I don't know why. I went into the bathroom to look for some Advil and had no success.

"Mom! Do we have any medication here, my head hurts like hell" I shouted loud enough she could hear me from wherever she could be in the house. I waited a good 20 seconds but got no reply so I decided to brush my teeth and go downstairs.

Once I walked into the living room I was greeted by Luke sitting on the couch eating cereal and watching Saturday morning cartoons.

"Luke," I began, "Do you know where my mother is?" I asked sitting down on the other couch.

"Yeah" he said simply, not taking his eyes off the tv, which had The Jetsons on, keep in mind this guys 17 year old.

"Uhm, could you tell me where she is?" I asked looking at him while his eyes were watching the tv intensively.

"My dad took her out to see the place and then they're going out for dinner, so I'm gonna order a pizza for the five of us" Luke said simply.

 Five, is Luke really that bad at math? There's clearly only two of us.

"You mean the two of us?" I asked squinting my eyes.

"My friends are coming over" Luke said.

"Oh" Is all I said before going into the kitchen to fix myself some breakfast.

"Don't worry, they're nice" Luke yelled from the living room.

I poured myself a bowl of frosted flakes and took it out to eat it on the patio because I didn't feel like sitting down and watching cartoons with Luke. Once I was done eating my cereal I sat my bowl down and enjoyed the warm sun against my skin, I wish I had brought a book with me, out here is so peaceful an-, my thoughts were interrupted by 3 loud teenage boys coming out of the house followed by Luke.

"Luke, who's the babe?" A tall tanned guy with black hair said nudging his arm a little.

"Dude, she's my stepsister" Luke said before taking his shirt off, I guess they were going for a swim.

"She may be your's but not mine" He said back to Luke before walking over to me.

"Hello, I'm Calum" He said with a genuine smile on his face showing off his deep dimples.

I smiled back before responding "Hello Calum, I'm Danielle but please call me Danny" I said back looking into his dark brown eyes.

"I would be ple-" Calum began before he was interrupted by Luke, "Danny, this is Michael, " He said pointing to a fairly pale guy with jet black hair "Ashton" He said gesturing to a guy with beautiful blonde curly hair and was a bit shorter then the rest of the boys "and Calum, but you already know who he is" Luke said shooting a glare at the corner of his eye to Calum, what was his problem?

"Well, we're about to go for a swim, did you wanna come with?" Luke said setting down 4 towels beside the pool.

"Uh, no, I'm good, thanks" I said back to Luke then he shrugged before jumping in the pool, Michael, Calum and Ashton doing the same. This made me miss my friends alot. Speaking of my friends, I haven't spoke to them in awhile, so I went upstairs and changed into a pair of black high waisted shorts and an 'odd future' shirt that Louis got for me awhile back. I grabbed my laptop and went back outside, I skyped Louis and he answered almost immediately throwing me off guard.

"Danny!" Louis yelled through my laptop which made the boys look my way in confusion.

"Oh my god Louis, how are you?" I said back with a teeth showing smile on my face.

"Who is Louis" Calum asked resting his hands on the edge of the swimming pool.

"Her boyfriend" Luke said while he rolled his eyes.

"Louis isn't my boyfriend" I said back to Calum and Luke.

"Wow Danny, you've made friends already?" Louis asked surprised, he knows I'm not the best at making friends, but I wouldn't consider Calum, Michael and Ashton my friends, not yet at least.

"No no, they're Luke's friends, my step brother" I said back to Louis.

"Ohhh" Louis began before I interrupted him to try and change the subject, at this point all 4 of them were watching me.

"So uh, how are you and harry?" I asked and Louis face lit up, talking about Harry makes him so happy.

"Perfect Danny, both our parents accept us and the other day we went for a walk and we totally got lost but I didn't care, we kissed, laughed together and" Louis kept rambling on how his first date with Harry went and it was so cute watching him get lost in his own little world.

"i just love him so much" Louis concluded after a good 2 minutes of talking about Harry.

"Well, I'm glad you and him are getting along, so how are the others?" I asked.

"They're okay, we all miss you Danny, you need to visit us sometime" Louis said back.

"Yeah for sure, I'll try at least" I replied.

Then Louis phone went off, he received a text. By the smile that appeared on his face I knew who exactly the text was from.

"Harry wants to go roller blading so I'll message you later, yeah?" Louis said.

"Yeah sure, bye Louis" I said back, then Louis hung up after waving bye, I shut my laptop and looked over to Luke, who was already looking at me.

"Hey, wanna grab us some popsicles Dan?" Luke asked with pieces of hair covering his forehead as he moved them clearly irritated by them, did he just call me Dan? No ones ever called me that besides Louis.

I nodded before heading inside and grabbing 5 popsicles, one for myself as well, I walked back out and sat down beside the pool putting my feet in, I tossed them each a popsicle and none of them said thanks but Ashton.

I opened my popsicle and began eating it, I didn't realize how sexual I was eating it until I looked over to Luke, who was watching me intensively while biting his bottom lip and playing with lip ring, I know he's my stepbrother and all but I've always had a thing for lip rings, he must have noticed that I noticed him staring and came out the pool and rushed inside and I followed him in as well the others.

Luke went upstairs and Michael and I went up as well.

"Luke whats wrong?" Michael asked as he opened his room door.

"Nothing, can I talk to Danny alone" Luke asked, but it sounded more like a demand and Michael left closing the door behind him. Luke looked over to me from across his room before slowly walking over to me and placing a hand on my waist.

"Your such a fucking tease" Luke said starring at my fucking soul, his eyes were a dark shade of blue and he was playing with that damn lip ring of his again.

"W-what do you mean?" I said trying to avoid his eyes.

But instead of answering my question he smashed our lips together throwing me off guard, it took me a minute to realize what was happening then an unexpected moan escaped my mouth and I could feel Luke smirking in the kiss, his hands went up my shirt before I released from his grasp.

"Luke, we can't, you're my stepbrother"
