It's been about 2 days since the "incident" between me and Luke, when I said we couldn't cause we're step siblings the look on his face honestly broke my heart, he seemed crushed then he looked almost mad. He left me upstairs and went and played Fifa with Michael and Calum and I stayed upstairs the rest of the night by myself.

Luke hasn't spoke to me since and it feels almost like he's avoiding me.

"Luke, could you hurry up please I need to use the bathroom" I said while knocking on the bathroom door, usually he didn't lock it but he's been locking it for the past few days and it's kinda annoying me.

I got no reply but 2 minutes after Luke came out with a towel wrapped around his waist and his wet hair going in all different directions, he brushed past me not even looking at me. I used the bathroom and washed my face and went downstairs, Luke was sitting at the island in the middle of the kitchen eating cereal while scrolling through his phone.

He looked up when he heard me and I smiled but he just looked back down to his phone, I don't know why Luke is being so overdramatic, it's like he's never been rejected before, well, I mean I can't imagine him being rejected honestly, he's almost perfect, blonde hair, blue eyes, 6'4 and he is fairly attractive, but I mean, our parents are together so it's not like we can date if we wanted to, although we aren't related at all.

Luke's dad and my mom entered the room breaking the awkward silence that me and Luke were in.

"Guys be ready in 2 hours" my mom said, she looked more dolled up then usual.

"Why? Where are we going?" Luke said before I could say anything.

"We're going out with the Rodriguez family for dinner" Luke's dad said, I had no idea who those people were but by the look that appeared on Luke's face I could tell he wasn't a huge fan of them.

Luke groaned before placing his bowl in the sink and going up the steps.

"Uh, mom, what should I wear?" I asked.

She looked down to see what I was wearing which was an oversized t-shirt and a pair of shorts.

"Not that" She began, "Oh, wear the black dress I got you" she said giving me a smile.

I nodded my head before going upstairs, I don't have to be ready till 6 and it's only 4. Luke was blasting his music as loud as possible, probably trying to annoy me but we had the same taste in music so jokes on him. I didn't know how to spend the 2 hours I had to waste so I decided to hop in the shower, I take long ass showers so that killed about 45 minutes, once I got out I put on more makeup then usually, some face makeup, eye makeup and I slightly filled in my brows. I looked at myself in my vanity mirror and was surprised, I laughed to myself alittle because I looked hot.

I pulled the dress out of my closet and slipped it on, it reached my mid thigh and was long sleeved, I paired it with a pair of all black vans, I would have wore heels but I can't walk in heels for the life of me. I curled my hair and went downstairs, Luke's lip parted when he saw me and I'm pretty sure I did the same thing to him, he was dressed in black dress pants and a dress shirt that was tucked into his pants with the sleeves rolled up half way.

"Okay let's go" Luke's dad said grabbing the car keys. Me and Luke were in the backseat with our parents in the front seat, thank god the ride wasn't too long because me and Luke kept constantly making accidental eye contact which made things kinda awkward.

When we arrived we walked in and this place looked fancy af, the lights were slightly dimmed and everything was just, perfect.

"Good evening sir , how may I assist you?" A tall male with brunette hair and sparkling green eyes asked Luke's dad.
