"Riley? Riley there's no time to sleep. Get up young lady, there's more clients coming in."

Riley groaned loudly as her mother shook her with her left hand. Riley slowly fluttered her eyes open, noticing the angry expression on her mom's face she quickly stood up, so fast she would almost tumble and fall. Topanga sighed, and wiped the dry saliva on Riley's cheek with her thumb.

"Sweetie look at you, you're barely awake. You'll scare the customers if you go out looking like this."

Riley giggled at her mother's statement and shook her hand away.

"Mom stop, I'm not a little girl anymore."

Topanga's smile changed to a serious expression making Riley's grin disappear too.

"I know Riley, that's why you have to work hard for your future husband."

Riley began playing with her bracelets after hearing her mom said that. Riley always stayed quiet, but she was actually really nervous about getting married to someone she never met before. Sure she still had 3 years left to be single, but time passes by fast. Riley didn't want to disappoint her parents so she was willing to marry whoever they chose to be with her.

"But mom, there's still 3 years to get ready for you know, the marriage."

Topanga chuckled at her daughter and pinched her left cheek.

"Honey time passes by fast, now go grab your pad and go take the clients orders, pronto."

Topanga quickly walked away clapping her hands to hurry Riley up.

Riley let out an exhausting sigh, grabbed her notepad and put it away on her pocket. She slid her rubber band off her soft, brown hair letting it be free from her hold. Riley then walked towards the mirror, placing some baby hairs where they should until she was satisfied. Before she could do anything else, she heard the little ring bell. Indicating a customer had arrived. She groaned a little before collecting herself together and walk out of the door.

Riley looked the client carefully, a smile appearing in her face. It was a girl, her blonde hair was all over her face but she noticed she was wearing sunglasses. She was wearing a white buttoned blouse with light blue jeans and white Converse. She walked towards the young girl while grabbing her notepad and pen, not looking at her until the girl took her sunglasses off.

"Welcome to Topanga's, what would yo- w-whoa..."

Riley's whole world stopped. She found herself staring into the most beautiful baby blue eyes, not expecting to be making the blondie a little uncomfortable.

"Um.. miss? Yeah right here?"

She began snapping her fingers to grab Riley's attention. Riley finally came to realization when Maya began giggling at Riley's blank face.

"Uh yes young lady? W-what were you saying?"

Riley cleared her throat and quickly held her notepad near her face to cover her blushing cheeks. Why was she even blushing in the first place? She's a girl. Girls don't like girls. Pfft. Maya smiled at Riley and ordered her coffee.
