Your friend oh how she suffers,

For this all your fault.

I must say I do admire you,

But you don't know I exist,

I took your friend to a place you know,

Where you will find her close to death.

I keep repeating the note over and over in my head, as I rush down the stairs. I collide into something landing on my back. Scrambling back up as fast as I can I see Alex standing up. I jog past him.

"What's wrong?" He asks grabbing my wrist. I yank it back, and show him the note. After I dropped it, I picked it back up just in case there is more clues. He quickly reads it, and turns white as paper.

"We have to find her." I tell him.

"We can't be rash. Lets tell the police first." He says.

"But the police are idiots!" I practically yell. He flinches, and I lower my voice. "I think we should find her first then tell the police."

"I think we should tell the police first." He argues back.

"Fine, you tell the precious police while I find her." I say, walking away. He yanks me back, and pushes me to the couch.

"Don't be stupid," He says looking mad, "Taylor was technically kidnapped, and this phsyco took her. You really want to go looking for her alone at night?"

"I won't go alone if you come with me." I say glaring at him. Not the best way to convince him.

"Fine I'll go." He says with a defeated sigh. I let out a sigh of relief, and walk to the door.

"Ok, first I think we should check someplace I know but-"

"Wait, Mercy." Alex interrupts me.

"Yes?" I prompt him impatiently. He grabs my waist pushing me into a walk-in closet, then closes the door, and locks it.

"I'm sorry, but I'm going to call the police first. It's for your own good." He says his voice muffled by the door.

"Go screw yourself!" I yell at him, and kick the door. Great, now my toe is throbbing. He locked me in, and he expects me just stay here? I will find a way out. I look in the coats pockets looking for a bobby pin to get myself out. The coats are for grown woman and men, which are probably their parents coats. Where are their parents? I haven't seen them at all.

Not the thing to think about. Finally I find a bobby pin, (And a working phone in one of the pockets) and look through the key whole. Maybe I can pick the lock. With a frustrated sigh, I found out you can only lock it from the outside with a key. So, picking the lock is out.

I look around the closet, and see a small window. A window I could probably fit into. Nothing happens at first, but then I register what I can do. Wow, I felt stupid for a moment there. I wiggle the window a bit to see if it really it open. It is.

I open it fully, and wriggle through it. Once I am finally free, I jog towards the forest. Then I stop, to think. Where could Taylor be? When I hear the sirens, I bolt into the forest without a second thought. It's funny how it seems like the police are looking for me, but in reality it's just to report a kidnapping. I have to find Taylor first, that I know. I take out the phone I took from the jacket. I'm going to return it... I just thought I would have it in case of an emergency.

When I stop to take my breath, I realize I have been running, without knowing where I was going. But this place looks familiar. I decide to walk wherever my feet take me. Probably not the smartest idea I've had.
