Hope y'all like the story!
Story Summary: Lucy's parents, were killed by monsters when the Heartfilia family were out for a picnic. Now left alone, Lucy runs and runs out further into the forest and meets a dragon. After learning magic, her dragon disappears and she then finds Fairytail. What will happen next?
...Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that during the two years that I skipped, Lucy got an exceed and named her Freeze...
Freeze is like Happy, but she has light blue fur and she wears a blue dress with light blue stripes. Also like Happy, her magic is Aera.
Oh! And Mirajane is the nice version in my story, plus Lisanna never "died" and stuff.
I don't own Fairytail, Hiro Mashima does.

~Timeskip 2 Years~
Lucy's Pov
It's been 2 years since Glace left, I missed her so much, but I know that she'll always be watching over me, so I put my hope in that. Meanwhile, even though I trusted Glacion, I still searched for her these past two years. I think I might want to join a guild soon.
'Hmm..Fairytail, was it?'
I went to the train station with Freeze and bought a ticket to Magnolia, home of the number one guild in Fiore.
'Ugh...trains, my number one enemy. Turns out being a dragon slayer has its ups and downs. And guess what, I forgot to bring a motion sickness pill'
I spent the rest of the train ride green and puking, until it finally stopped. I ran out with Freeze tailing close behind.
"I'm free! I'm free! I'm never riding on those death machines ever again!" I said after kissing the ground.
"That's what you always say, Lu," Freeze said.
"...shut up..."
"Well, come on, let's go find Fairytail."
"Alright then, let's go!"
We arrived in no time at all. The Fairytail building sure was big. I kicked open the doors, since I don't have any manners, and the brawl from inside instantly stopped, staring at the stranger that was walking in.
"Where's your master?" I asked a long white haired beauty.
"He's up there in his office. My name's Mirajane, but you can call me Mira."
"Alright then! I'll be back in a minute."
I knocked on the door.
"Come in!" The master said.
First thing I saw when I walked in was a huge stack of papers and a tiny man standing on the desk.
"Umm..hi, I'd like to join the guild."
"What's your info, dear?"
"My name's Lucy Heartfilia, I'm currently twelve years old, my magic is ice dragon slaying magic, and I've been looking for Glacion, the ice dragon for two years now, ever since she disappeared on July 7, 777."
"That seems like Natsu's story. He's a fire dragon slayer, been looking for a fire dragon named Igneel. Guess his story about dragons existing is true after all."
"OF COURSE DRAGONS ARE REAL!" I shouted, and may I add, very, very loudly.
And of course I yelled it so loudly that everyone outside, even the people that just got back from a mission were shocked, and started looking at their Master's door.
"Yes, of course they're real, excuse me for not believing him in the first place."
"So can I join the guild?"
"Of course, let me call Mira."
After he called her and she gave my stamp which was light blue on the back of my right hand, I went outside the office where everyone was still quiet in shock.
"What do you mean dragons are real?" A random person asked, breaking the awkward silence.
   'And the introductions begin'
"My name's Lucy Heartfilia, I'm 12 years old, my magic is ice dragon slaying magic, and I've been looking for Glacion, the ice dragon for almost two years now, ever since she disappeared on July 7, 777. Oh and this is my exceed, Freeze." (A/N: Freeze got her guild mark in her back in blue)
I was then again greeted with silence...until, "LUCE!"
A pickette ran up and hugged me, my eyes filled with shock because I finally found my friend again. When I hugged him back, gasps were heard.
"Natsu, how do you know the new member?" A rather strict voice called out.
"Well, back awhile ago, our dragons, Igneel and Glacion introduced us to each other, and we Pinky Promised to try to find each other again."
In the background you can hear 'awwws' and 'that's so sweet' and 'our Natsu's grown up' and stuff.
My face flushed and Natsu put his hand on my forehead, asking me if I was sick.
"Of course I'm not sick! Lucy Kick!"
He slammed into a nearby wall. A redhead wearing armor then came up to me, giving me a nod of approval.
"My name's Erza Scarlet, I am twelve years old, and my magic is requip magic. Nice to meet you, Lucy." She stuck her hand out and I shook it.
Next, a raven head came up to me.
"U-um...you're..uh...not wearing anything.." I said, turning around with my face red like a tomato.
"Aw, shoot! Darn it!" He rushed off to find his clothes and then came back.
"My name's Gray Fullbuster, I'm also twelve and my magic is ice make magic. It's nice to see a fellow ice mage."
"Glad to know that you're an ice Mage too, Gray, or should I say, stripper, since your shirt is gone again."
"Oh..I..uh...gotta go!" He said rushing to find his lost shirt.
"So! Natsu, since you're awake, why don't––" he cut me off.
"––LUCE! Fight me!" He yelled. Of course, he never does changes.
*Flashback*
Right after their game of hide and go seek, Natsu said, "LUCE! FIGHT ME!"
"Hmm..alright! Let's go! BRING IT ON!"
"YOSH! I'M ALL FIRED UP!"
After we exchanged a few (more like 50) blows, we stopped, seeing that we were both hungry and tired. Ever since then, we never knew who was stronger, since we HAD only each other for that one day.
