I Want..

Kathy's POV

And so I sat there in the living room waiting for Aaron, when all of a sudden I hear noises coming from what I figured is the kitchen, curiosity overcomes me. I walked slowly & quietly to the kitchen, I hid myself behind a huge & dusty old shelf, peeking to see a man holding a huge knife, I can hardly catch my breath as he slowly faced me and I gave out a loud scream.

"Ahhhhhhhhh!"

"Ahhhhhh! Oh God, Kathy! You scared the hell out of me! What are you doing behind that shelf!?" Who would've thought that it was just Aaron.

"W-what are you gonna do to me? Are you planning to murder me while I'm waiting in your living room?" I replied, a big shock registering in my face.

He let out a sigh. "No, I'm preparing food for my guest. Here have some cake." He showed me a fake smile. So, he was just slicing a cake, looking at it from here I can see CARBS, CARBS, CARBS..

"Uhm Aaron, forget the cake, I really need to talk to you. Like, right now.."

"Well, we can talk here. What did you came here for anyway?" He asked while taking a bite from his cake. Aaron Mitchell, just look at what this guy is wearing, is this some kind of Nerd fashion gone wild, he's wearing a teal colored turtleneck, it's summer for freakin's sake. Then look at those pants, oh no, my eyes can't bear it, and shocked as I was because he's inside his house so why is he wearing really pointy shoes!? I don't know, I just can't help but stand there in awe.

"Uhmm.. Aaron, I'll go straight to the point." I took a deep breath then told him about my agreement with my dad, the SAT exams, that he must tutor me and stuff. When I'm done explaining, he just stood there still eating his cake, I can feel the tension and the awkward silence is killing me. Did I say something wrong? Was I that hopeless?

"So..." I said, waiting for his reply.

"No.." He said that with a straight face, not even looking at me.

"Why? Was it too hard to ask? Aren't you smart enough to tutor me? Do you want me to pay for your brain fee something.. Just say so... How much will that be?" I said seriously.

"Simply because I don't want to.." He replied with a stern face.

"But please Aaron, I swear I'll do anything, just help me save Walter!" I cried desperately.

"You'll do anything?" Yes, he said that with a smirk on his face.

"Yes Aaron. As long as you'll tutor me. Make sure that I'll get a high mark then that's it. Please.." I said looking at him with those puppy eyes.

Aaron headed to the living room, leaving me there speechless, I ran after him. Then he faced me.

" Alright, bake me cookies everyday, I want the cookies not too raw and not too cooked. Bake them here, just to make sure that you baked it yourself, feel free to use the kitchen. We start tomorrow. Just bring yourself here, the studying materials are on me.." Then he lead me out to the door, closing it to my face, then it just all registered to me..

"Wait! Aaron! I don't know how to bake!" But no reply. Why bake cookies? He obviously know how impossible that is. Ugh! He's pissing me off..acting so high and mighty only coz he know that I really need him. No time to waste, I should ask Martha for help. You want me to bake you cookies, I'll bake you cookies so good, you'll worship me as your queen,Geek! Hahahahaha
