Marcie's Journey

Chapter 3

Erza opened the door and the three walked inside. She was then assaulted by her sisters.

"What the hell, you two!" Erza yelled, trying to push her sisters off of her. Her sisters just giggled and climbed off of her.

"Lets see your Pokemon!" Her first sister, Maggie, demanded.

"Yeah! Please?!" Her second sister, Claire, asked. Claire and Maggie were twins, and the younger siblings of Erza. 

"Whatever..." Erza said nonchalantly. She took out her Pokeball and released her Tepig. The Tepig looked around and then up at its trainer. He snorted and small flames came from his nose. The twins giggled. 

"He's so cute!" Claire said excitedly. The twins bent down to pet the Tepig. Tepig beamed and snorted again, startling the girls.

"Eep!" Maggie shrieked, jumping away from the Tepig. Erza and Marcie laughed. 

"I'm going to go make lunch." Erza told Marcie and Lukas. She walked over to the kitchen, leaving her Tepig to play with her sisters. 

"We should take out our Pokemon, too!" Marcie told Lukas. "Maybe they could play with one another!" She beamed.

"Sure." Lukas said as he took out his Pokeball. Both Marcie and Lukas let their Pokemon out to play with Tepig and the twins. After a bit of playing, Erza came back with lunch. 

"Food time!" Erza said as she set sandwiches down on the table. Erza also set four bowls of Pokemon food down on the floor. Everyone sat down at the table, (or on the floor) and began eating.

"I can't believe our journey starts tomorrow..." Lukas said in disbelief. "Its hard to imagine we've come this far..."

"Lukas, its been twelve years. We've done nothing with our lives." Marcie said as she ate her sandwich. 

"Shut up..." Lukas said as he shoved the rest of his sandwich in his mouth. After a while of silence, Marcie dropped her Pokeball.

"Shoot." Marcie said as she bent down to pick it up. She brushed it off and put it back in her bag. "Hey Erza?"

"Yeah?"

"Where are your parents?" She asked.

"They're not home..." Erza replied, looking down at her feet. "They left on vacation today... They won't even see me off..." 

"That's screwed up..." Marcie said. "What will your sisters do while you're gone?" 

"They'll be with Lukas's parents until my parents come back." Erza said as she looked over at the twins who were playing with the Pokemon again.

"It is a terrible idea to have your sisters with my brother in the same room... They'll destroy everything in sight..." Lukas said. "You should have seen what they did to my room last time we were over..." Marcie and Erza laughed. 

"Yeah..." Erza said. "They're a handful..."
