Chapter 2- Goodbye UK,Hello Australia.
So we are in the taxi on the way to our new home Glenroy,Victoria. I've only seen pictures of the house and it looks nice. It's 18:00 and we pull up outside a house with ivy growing on the side of the creme wall. I swung the door open and inhaled the Australian air. Five boys who were playing football in the road were staring at us. Awkward! One green eyed boy rushed over.
"G'day i'm Beau Brooks I live next door" He stretches his arm for me to shake it,i was about to shake it when my 'dad' grabbed it instead.
"Hello,I'm Tommy Smith, this is my wife Sandra Smith and my daughter's Lilly and Kayla" How embarrassing! "We just moved here from the UK so G'day" Beau just giggled at his statement. Our gaze met and he gave me a cheeky wink which made me blush.
"Nice to meet you I guess i'll see you around somewhere" and with that Beau spun around and walked back to the other 4 lads.
I stepped in my furbished house. IT was gorgeous. I rushed upstairs so I could pick out my bedroom. I came across a white coloured room with black bird and flower stickers stuck on the wall. I jumped on my doubled bed and snuggled into the quilt. Guess whos going to have Jet Lag???
Kayla was mad I got the room I can proudly pronounce 'mine'. But she seems to like her room. I need to unpack but its 20:30 and i'm exhausted and can't sleep. I tip toed down the stairs trying not to disturb anyone and snuck out into the front garden. It was cold but I needed air. I sat on a bench outside my house.
"Fancy seeing you here,ey?" Beau took a seat next to me. "Thought you'd be asleep or unpacking" I just shook my head.
"Nope Jet lag" He nodded his head letting a cheeky grin slip onto his face. It was freezing outside, I had shorts and a short tee shirt on.
"want my jacket" I nod my head, I felt guilty but I was frozen. I looked at him, I think he knew what I was thinking. He leaned in I got up off the bench and ran down the street with his jacket on. I didn't have a clue where I was going. I looked back to see where Beau was untill I fell flat on my bum.
"oops sorry" I stood up giggling meeting Brown eyes yes I have an obsesstion about eyes :). "i'm Daniel but you can call me skip"
"Hellp Daniel i'm L-" He cut me off
"Yes I know,Lilly" is he a sidekick? "Beau hasn't stopped talking about you" Oh dear. "speaking of the devil" Beau stopped beside me.
"What? what did I miss?" Beau shot a 'what have you said' glare at Daniel..i mean skip.
"Nothing.Just how you haven't stopped talking about me. stalker" I winked
"oh" Beau laughed.
"Anyways,i'll head in,Night" I've only been in Australia a few hours and i've already met friends.
