Fast forward a little their first kiss went in slow-mo,
Years later they're still together,
Gave up their lives for one another,
But things went south,
She found lipstick smudges on his mouth,
Broken and hurt he drank while she got high,
Never found the courage to say goodbye,
They both gave up and went to the river,
What they saw made them both shiver,
Hand in hand jumped off the bridge,
Their lungs filled with water as though in a binge,
They fell into blackness, eyes stinging and red,
As they both drown, left each other for dead.
