My heart was beating faster and faster every second past.
I couldn't move, as if I was paralyzed from head to toe.
"I see how you decided to come out of the bathroom for once."
Finding every courage I could find, I finally looked up and faced the devil.
"What's going on, sweetie?" Melissa asked me as she took a seat next to me.
I didn't know what to say. My words were all clumped up in my throat.
"How's Rider doing? I see how you've been eating lunch with him today. Is he your next prey to feast on?"
My hands balled up into a fist.
You bitch.
"Rider's a nice guy and all. But he's not really your type. I wouldn't even try, honey." Melissa said, giggling.
"I wasn't..."
"You weren't what? Trying to take him into your grasp of whore-ness? I doubt that, Addy. I mean, that's what you did to me." Melissa glared right into my eyes, "Isn't that right, Addy?"
My teeth were clenched behind my closed lips. I was furious but crushed at the same time. Why would Melissa have the nerve to come up to me and say this?
Oh right.
She have been for a year now.
"Ew, Melissa. Why are you talking to her? You'll catch the skankiness from her." Tara said, walking up to Melissa.
I looked at Tara as she gave me a cold stare.
"I know. I was just wondering why she's been hanging around with Rider Donahue. I smelled something fishy about this." Melissa told her.
"Moving on already, Addy?" Tara asked me. Tears were slowly starting to appear and I looked down.
I could tell people were starting to stare because of how the lunch room got quieter.
"Aw, are you going to start crying?" Melissa said, giving me a fake pout.
I grabbed my bag and got up from my seat.
"Leave me alone." I finally said and hurried my way towards the girls' bathroom.
"Keep running away, slut!" I heard Melissa call out along with laughter rising in the cafeteria.
I can't take this anymore.
I knew showing up in the cafeteria for lunch was a bad idea.
I knew it.

I spent the rest of lunch time and the last two periods of the day in the bathroom.
I really couln't take it anymore.
Melissa and Tara's torments.
The people laughing at me in amusement.
The stupid choices I'm making.
I couldn't take it.

When I got home from school, the house was quiet as usual. My parents are never home nowadays. They're stuck at work, not caring about their own daughter anymore. I feel lonelier day by day. I hate it.
I went upstairs to my room and locked myself in like I do everyday.
I threw my bad on my desk chair and I layed down on my bed.
I wonder what Rider is thinking right now.
I left right after Melissa called me out in front of everyone and I didn't see him for the rest of the day because I was busy hiding in the bathroom.
I sighed heavily, grabbed my pillow that was next to me and covered my face with it.
I've never hated my life this much than ever before.
