Ally: Dinah, try some green beans. You can pick the sultanas out.
Me: You can put them on my plate but that doesn't mean I'll eat them.
Normani: Why don't you like them?

Me: They're stringy.
Ally: They only get stringy when they're old! These are fresh!
Me: Fine. They're fresh and stringy.
