It had been a few weeks since the whole rooftop scenario and Zosia had been signed off work, undoubtedly she had got even worse. Oliver had never seen her this bad, but it wouldn't be until today when he truly realised how bad it had all got. After work, Ollie popped around the flat to see Zosia, after the first couple of knocks, she didn't answer, he knocked again. Still no answer. He knew she was in as her windows were open and the tv was blaring.
"Zosh." He called through the letterbox.
No answer.
He proceeded to go to the window and peep through, and his heart dropped.
"Oh god Zosh, no no no."
Ollie shoulder barged the back gate to get into the garden, and as he ran up to the back door much to his relief it was open.
He sprinted through the flat and found Zosia on the floor alongside an empty bottle of pills and a bottle of vodka. Ollie was nearly in tears, he checked her airways and found she wasn't breathing.
"Don't you dare leave me March. Please." He pleaded as he performed CPR.
The ambulance soon arrived and as the paramedics pumped her chest Ollie's tears begun to fall. She was not breathing, she had no heart rate, then suddenly the paramedic spoke,
"You in agreement?" He nodded to his colleague. The other paramedic nodded.
"Time of death 19:46."
