Chapter 9

It's almost 9 pm and you are dressed,waiting for Genos to escort you to the party.
"Sensei,are you coming with us?"Genos looked at the bald man who is brushing his teeth.
"Nah I'll catch up later.You two go on."

The ride to City A was quiet and awkward you don't know if he's nervous or something but no one is brave enough to talk.
While the train is moving fast,you can see the view of City A,lights,buildings.Ah you missed this place.It's your hometown,right?
"It's beautiful.."You said,looking at the window.

Genos didn't say anything but looked at the window too. It stayed like that until we arrived.
We both stepped out of the train and walked to The Hero Association building.
The building's covered in lights and decorations,Classy decorations.
We walked in together and found Tatsumaki waiting for us in the lobby.
"ah (y/n)! I'm glad you came! come on in."She guided you and Genos to the ballroom,There isn't many people in there,iust heroes that we know and some government people.
"Just sit down here,The waiters will bring you appetizer."Tatsumaki pointed towards a little round table that has white cloth on it including wine glasses and plates. Genos walked to the table and pull the chair out for you.
"Thanks."You sat down gesturing Genos to sit opposite you.
When all guests sat,the lights in the ballroom starts to dim.
"Thank you for coming everyone.I'm Tatsumaki,Please enjoy your meal."As she finish her speech(too short) she floats down to us. "Is that baldy coming?"
"Yeah but I don't know when."You smiled at her. And then Saitama walks in,Speak of the devil.
"Where's the free food?"wise words,man.
Tatsumaki sighs and pointed to the buffet and salad bar with her index finger.
"Want some wine?"You asked Genos while looking at the shiny red wine bottle in front of you.
"Yes."
We talked about things in our life,chit-chatting,talking about some thing else.
You have so much fun. Until the lights dim down. Classical music starts to play.
Tatsumaki taps a fork on a wine glass to make the guests listen to her.
"So as you see,There'll be a dance.Please team up with your date."She said and walked down to Fubuki.
"May I?"Genos pulls a hand out to you.
You giggled and smiled."You may."
You both danced to the music calmly. You put your head on Genos' chest and made him blush,but you didn't see his face because he's taller than you.
When the lights are on as usual.You can't seem to find Genos anywhere so you walked to the balcony and saw Genos standing alone.
"Uh,Hey."You said,walking up to him.
He didn't say anything but looked into your eyes.
"W-what's the matter?"You started to get flustered because of his eyes.
"(y/n)."He holded your hands,making you jump a bit.
"I have something to confess,The feelings that have been in my heart ever since I've met you in the first place."He said,looking away.
"What is...it?"You said curiously.Well,not that curiously because you just like to see him flastered so you said that lol.
his fans in his chest are making noises.
"I...like you,I-I even love you."His hand is getting hot and hotter at every word he say.
"Genos..."
"I-It's ok If you don't love me back,I'll just stay out of your way."He said,releasing his hands from yours
"Genos,I love you! that girl that asked to sit with you that day's me!"You said,holding his hands.
"(y/n).."
He leaned close to your face,his hands holding your waist.And then our lips connected.
It was a passionate kiss. We kissed long enough to gasp for our breathes.

You both walked to the train station,holding hands all the way to City-Z.
