Zak and I walked outside and got in the car. Aaron was in front so Zak sat with Jay and I in the back. Zak and I sat quietly.
"What the hell's with you 2?" Aaron asked.
Zak and I stayed silent.
"Ok, nice to know." Aaron said and went back to his phone.
Zak sat his hand on my thigh. I looked away from him. I could tell he was smirking.
The car came to a stop in front of a hotel. Zak opened the door and grabbed my hand. He pulled me out of the car. I pulled away from him and got into the back to get a camera and a recorder.
"It's the second day of our investigation in Las Vegas, New Mexico and it is snowing, really hard." Zak said to the camera.
We went into the hotel and met with a guy named Shawn who worked at the front desk. He told us about a room that women are attacked in.
"I guess we should send Lilia with Billy and Jay so she can go in there by herself for a little while during the lockdown." Aaron suggested.
"Sounds.."
Zak cut me off. "Not a chance in hell, this is her first lockdown I'm not having her attacked. She's going to be with me and Aaron at the Castaneda Hotel."
I held my hands up. "Yes Sir, whatever you say."
We entered the room and automatically I could tell I wasn't wanted in there. I stepped back out into the hall.
"Hey what's wrong?" Zak looked out the door.
"Whatever is in there doesn't want me in there." I said.
He nodded. "Ok."
We soon walked down stairs to the basement. It was all muddy due to the weather and the floor being dirt.
"Stay here, wouldn't want you to get your shoes dirty." Zak said.
"Oh suck it." I walked passed him and into the mud.
I heard Aaron laugh. "Dude."
Zak joined me. "This is where they have on video a little girl calling for her grandma."
I looked around and found myself staring at Zak as he talked about the investigation.
How is it possible for someone to be so adorable, and hot at the same time?!
"Lilia, Lilia." Zak waved his hand in front of my face.
"Hai." I said, still kind of out of it.
"We're going to Castaneda. It's lockdown time."
