10:00AM your watch read as your plane hit the runway, landing right on time. You grabbed your luggage as quickly as possible and hailed a cab, heading to the venue where Jacob would be doing his meet and greet that evening. 11:30, you were behind schedule, luckily so was Jacob meaning he wasn't there to set up yet. You explained to the owner that you were Jacob's girlfriend and asked if you could keep your suitcase there until after the event, after getting permission you left the building to kill some time at the mall, just as you hopped in another cab Jacob stepped out of the RV. You ducked your head quickly until the building was out of sight. As the evening drew closer you began to worry "What if he doesn't want me there" "What if I can't come with him" so on and so on. After all, he didn't know you took two weeks off of work. He always talked about wanting you there with him, but you were very unsure he meant it. In the end you decided you would find out later.
Finally it was time for the meet and greet to start; you waited a while so there would be a bit of a line before you got there. As the crowd died down you made your way into the line. Some fans screamed when they recognized you and asked for pictures; you agreed to take photos with them as long as they didn't post them until after or tell Jacob you were there. As the line got shorter your stomach fluttered, you knew it was dumb to be this nervous about meeting your own boyfriend, but something about the setting made you feel like you were just a fan again. You were so close you could see him happily taking pictures with fans. You smiled to yourself when you saw how happy he was. Now there were less than ten people in front of you.
That's when you heard a voice a few girls back go "I'm so nervous."
You took it upon yourself to let the girls in front of her go before you so you could speak to her "he's really nice I promise."
The young girl looked up at you and her face lit up when she saw who you were. She asked her mom to take a picture of the two of you and appeared much more relaxed. Of course you let her go ahead of you too. After they finished their pictures and conversation she smiled and said "Y/n said you'd be nice!" She gave him one last hug and walked off.
He called after her, "did you tweet her?"
"No we talked!" She yelled back as she left the building.
He turned around slightly baffled before waving the next person, you, over.
"Hey Jacob!" You sounded much more giddy than you expected.
He jumped at the sound of your voice and his head snapped over to you. He stood frozen for a moment before a goofy smile appeared on his face. You giggled and managed to say "surprise!"
"What are you doing here?" he laughed as he pulled you in for a huge hug.
You explained that you had a couple weeks off and that you swung by earlier with your stuff, ending with a quiet and shy, "can I come with you?"
You didn't think his smile could get any bigger but it did, he gave you a kiss on the forehead and replied "of course you can. Finally"
While he met the rest of the fans you loaded yourself onto the RV and settled in. Once everything was finished up you saw him jog over and let himself in, immediately hopping onto his bunk with you and attacking you with kisses.
He stopped for a moment to whisper "I just can't believe you're here."
"Believe it." You whispered back before snuggling into him and resuming the kiss.
