Chapter 3: trying again

I looked at the clock and it was 8:00. I had to start to drive to the high school because we all had to clean out our lockers and get a class picture. We also had to tell them were we where choosing to go to college. I decided I was going to London, Britain to be a teacher because it wasn't to far from were I live now and I've been there a lot and I really like it.

I pulled up to the high school. I got out and locked my car. I had to make sure know one would steal stuff from my car. Last year I left my car unlocked and people stole money and my purse.

I walked to the entrance and walked to my locker. I took a deep breath relieved I made it this far without anyone noticing me. I opened my locker and a pair of hands touched me.

"Did you miss me?" I squeezed my eyes shut knowing who it was. I turned around and backed up until my back touched my locker.

"Get away." I said slamming my locker and trying to walk away. That didn't work because he grabbed my hand again hard and pushed me back.

"What's the rush beautiful?" he whispered in my ear. He was starting to make me sweat and shake.

"The rush is, that you need to get away!" I said and pushed him away. I walked away and he was shocked. I looked back and he was surprised. I smiled in relief and went to the front desk. I had to sign a sheet and give a little information on what I was planning to do in college. I bumped into someone and looked up to see it was Chase.

"Oh my gosh. I'm so sorry!" he bent down and held out his hand. "Are you ok?"

"Umm, ya." I grabbed his hand and tried to walk away. I didn't want to have him ask me a bunch of questions.

"Kaiden." he grabbed my hand. He didn't grab it hard like Cameron though. "Are you ok?" He looked me in the eyes and gave me a serious look.

"Ya, I'm fine. I'm over it now. I was just being stupid, it's not even a big deal." I tried to get out of his grasp but I couldn't.

"It is a big deal though. He hurt you." He was right.

"Ya I'm fine, ok. Shouldn't you be with your girlfriend Lexi?" I told him. I gave him a little look that was like a glare but was also like a 'I'm fine now get away.'

"Sorry, I was just trying to help. Well I'll be going now." he gave me a little wave and walked away.

I rolled my eyes and began walking again. I got to the office and signed the papers.

I went back to my locker and there wasn't anyone there. I grabbed my science book and folder and went to class. I looked and the only seat that was available was one next to Cameron. I walked their slowly and sat down.

"You jus-

"Shut up." I said and look at him. I glared and then listened to what the teacher had to say. She didn't make us do any work but I still listened.

The rest of the day we had no work. I was tired by the last class and didn't want to deal with the drama. It was hard though because my 4 best friends, Roxanne, Jordan, Allison, and Trinity. We all keep saying good bye and hugging. Trinity and Roxanne are more relax and movie type but Allison, me and, Jordan are partiers! We like dancing and things like that. We don't drink or anything but still, were partiers! Trinity and Roxanne are going to America together and Jordan and Allison are going to Ireland.

The last bell rang and we all looked at each other. We all walked out to my car together silent.

"I love you guys! I promise I'll come and visit!" Jordan said. A couple tears slid down are faces. We have been friends since kindergarten and we were splitting now. We all hugged and walked away. I tried to not look back but it was hard.

I got to my car and drove to my house relieved that I could go home and get some rest. I was ready to go to college.
