I came to realize that its not being alone that scares us as humans
But its rather what comes with that loneliness
Its the fear of what could happen while we are alone
Of being caught off guard
Of what our uncontrollable feelings will bring us to do
We are afraid of being alone because there will be no one around to stop us from hurting ourselves
No one around to tell us it will be okay
No one there to distract us from our own twisted head
We fear being alone because we're afraid of ourselves
