I looked all around the room in a blur until I saw Maya.
R- Peaches?
Her eyes went wide and started to leave the room.
M- Wait right here honey.
She walked out and I stood up. I let my hands fall to my sides and I walked up to the window and the sunlight coming in.
I reached my hand out and saw a different ring on my finger. I ignored it for now and walked all the way into the sun.
It was warm and inviting. I looked out at all the trees in the forest. It took me a minute to realize that my parents along with everyone else's families had moved into the woods with us.
I continued to look out into the woods, but I was snapped out of my thoughts by the sound of the door opening.
I snapped my head towards the door fast and saw my Lucas, my husband.
He stared at me and I stared back. After a while I stuck my hands out for him to take and come enjoy the light with.
He slowly walked over to me, not breaking eye contact, and placed his hands on my waist as mine rested on his arms. I could feel the thirst rising in my throat but I need to see my family first. He rested his forehead on mine and we smiled.

R- How long was I out?
L- Four days. The others helped to use our healing powers so you could wake up sooner.
