Avery's POV:"Mom, dad, you should really come and look at this." I shout my eyes still glued to the television. How did they even find out about me? Who could have told them? My old Adoptive Parents! I bet you anything it was them. The only other person, I told was Emma and she wouldn't do that but they would.
"What is-" Mom doesn't finish because she looks up to see, the news. Pictures of her and Dad come up and then me? Now, I know it was my old Adoptive parents because Emma doesn't even have a picture of me. How could they do this?
"What are we going to do now?" I ask.
"Nothing." Mom says. I look at her confused and she continues with, "We knew it would happen at some point. With the paparazzi you just have ignore them, when they are taking photos of you. Plenty of things will be made up about you but you just have to forget about them."
"But I don't want to be harassed by them, have them follow me everywhere. I want to be a normal person." I spoke.
"Well, if you want that then you couldn't be with us anymore sweetheart but I promise you everything will be okay." Dad says in a loving tone.
I can't stay here can I? If I stay I'll never have any privacy. I'm 16-years-old now I can go anywhere, I'll meet with Emma. I do really want to stay here but if it's means being followed around then I can't do that.
"I've got to go." I speak before running upstairs collecting my stuff.
"Where are you going?!" My parents shouted worry in their voices.
I began putting everything into my bag, well everything I could fit into it. "I don't know! Somewhere where nobody will know me, or follow me, take pictures of me. I want to have a private life and I can't have that here. I'm sorry."
"You can't go. You'll have to live on the streets or go back to your adoptive parents." My mom says sadness taking over her.
"I'm sorry but I have a friend. I can stay with her. I'll call you all the time but I have to do this." I say.
My parents nod.
"Can't you just see what it's like? It might not even be that bad! And if you leave how are you going to go to school? Have an education? How are you going to survive?"
"I made it here with no money, no clothes, no food, no shelter. I think I can make it back the same." I say swiftly going downstairs and opening the door. I walk to the gate to see masses of paparazzi.
"Jen, Leo let us see you daughter!"
"Avery! Jen! Leo!"I quickly run back inside.
"They're everywhere! I can't take this!" I sit on the couch and begin to sob. "What am I going to do?"
"Stay here. We can look after you and I promise you'll get used to them but if you turn 18 and you still hate this life. Then you can go but you have to promise to stay in touch no matter what." My mom tells me. I just nod and give her a tight embrace.
"I know and I love you both. You know that. I'm sure I will get used to it and I probably over reacted there."
------- later that day -------
"Hunny, come here!" I hear my mom yell to me in the kitchen.
"Yeah mom." I say. I guess you could say I calmed down a lot since the whole incident but I'm fine now.
"You start school tomorrow."
"What? Where?" I ask.
"Not far from here. It's a special that not many people know about made especially for kids with famous parents so they can be normal. You'll love it." My dad tell me before kissing my forehead.
I don't want to go to school!
