Amy's p.o.v

Here I am finished packing the last of my clothes, even though there is a week left of the summer, but needed to be prepared apparently. I am arranging a massive house party for my leaving, although I know my parents won't let me have one at our house. I am speaking to my friends which I won't see until I escape from the Chattham.

I picked my out fit for today, some denim shorts, my sleeveless arctic monkeys top, a chequered shirt tied round my waist and my white converse. I applied some natural make-up.

I have now packed all my clothes which will be a disaster trying to find what I want to where tomorrow, but we will have to cross that bridge when we come to it. I am going downstairs to play on the playstation, mum says I can't take it with me, nothing like a bit of GTA5 to lighten the mood. Emily comes in and asks to borrow my charger.

"It's packed" I replied, even though it was next to me charging my phone. She sauntered out of the room unimpressed.

"Amy" Mum called "Amy" she called again.

"I'm in here" I responded she came in and explained that we needed to go and see Gran who happened to live in the country side, because I wouldn't see her in a while. It has crossed my mind a few times to ask Gran it I could stay with her, but she is nutter, so I prefer to stay well clear.

"So get ready please" Mum finished , she then looked down at my game, which all the way through the conversation I haven't stopped looking at, it's a very intense moment. "Oh I wish you wouldn't play those sorts of games, all they do is encourage violence". I rolled my eyes not willing to get it to an argument about the matter.

A little while later

"Mum do we need to take the mini bus, theirs only two of us and -- wait why are there only two of us?"

"You're father is taking Emily to the dentist, she broke a tooth on an olive stone" Mum replied looking unimpressed. Typical Emily always gets out of everything. Me and mum didn't talk much the rest of the journey, I turned on kiss fm and went on my phone, car wi-fi is a life saver .

We have arrived at gran's house.  Gran is minted like us so she has always got something crazy going on in her house last time it was a  tennis court, with a machine that fires tennis balls at you but the turf was pink. The time before that a full size cinema that only showed David attenborough's documentary's. Yes she a strange character, with cool ideas and horrible twists.

We knocked on the door and were quickly greeted in. I try to stay quiet when I'm at Gran's house so she doesn't want to show me anything or ask me anything. But this time we didn't even get a cuppa before she said the dreaded sentence.

"I have something to show you out the back" Me and mum looked at each other with worried looks.

"Whats it gonna be this time?" Mum questioned anxiously but Gran had already walked of to the back door.

"Is that a cow?" I questioned disbelievingly.

"Yes" Gran started cheerfully "It's one of fifteen"

"Fifteen" Mum blurted out "Mum you can't look after fifteen cows alone.

"Unfortunately this is somewhat true" Yeah too right it is she can't even look after herself. "So I have built a small home for farmer Chris" she pointed towards a house on the other side of the field. The house had a thatched roof and a old fashioned look about it there was also a huge metal building, which gran explained was were they were milked. A house wait a sec fifteen cows and a farmer, well now I know where Emily got her weirdness from. After the grand tour I went and hide in the cinema, leaving mum to deal with gran.

After  a few hours I got a call from mum saying that we were going to meet farmer Chris at the pub for a drink. I drag myself out the seat I was sitting on and made my way to the mini van. I was forced to sit in the back and gran picked classic fm on the radio. So I promptly put in my headphones. When we got to the pub farmer Chris was already tipsy so didn't want another drink. After a short while me and Mum took Gran and Farmer Chris home.

Me and Mum got back in the car, Mum decided to take a country lane shortcut which soon got us lost,  we went in to an in depth conversation about Gran and then, we got completely lost we had been driving for four hours. I was on look out for signs when suddenly I found a very scary one it read. Chattham school for well rounded individuals.

"Mum turn around, mum are you listening?" Amy questioned. "Mum, did you see the sign MUUUUUUUM"

"Amy don't be alarmed but Chattham start a week earlier then ---" Mum started.

"You knew about this, and didn't bother to tell me"  Amy exclaimed getting increasingly angry.

"Well we decided that you wouldn't have come if you knew that --" Mum tried to reason.

"We, We you mean Dad knew about this too, no I'm not going let me out now now" Amy shouted, Mum locked the doors by pressing a button. "uggggggggghhhhh, you planned everything made me pack all my stuff and that's why we bought the mini van, my luggage is in the back, we got lost on purpose . Didn't we? Mum answer me, Mum"

Then I saw it the Hogwarts style building I felt anger bubble up in side of me. It was now eight  o clock .  The long drive and pristine lawn to either side were typically posh . Mum went down the drive as if she new it like the back of her hand. A huge fountain was in the middle the lawn where we veered left into the turning circle we parked in front of the  stairs. I stepped out grudgingly to see a man in a suit and a bow tie walk out.

"We will take your luggage ma'am to the young ladies room" The plump butler type fellow said.

"Welcome" I looked up to see presumably the head teacher  a short lady with a pink curtain like out fit she reminded me of professor Umbridge from Harry Potter. "To Chattham school for well rounded individuals".

I want to cry.
