Chapter 2

It was lunch time but since I don't eat lunch I sat in the library texting my best friend Sophie.

"Hi I'm Kat the cheerleading captain and I saw you grab a form for try outs." This brown hair girl said with a smile. She had appeared from no where.

"Yeah I love to cheer, I left my team Florida State to come here." I told her.

"Why would you leave Florida State? That's like the best cheer teams in Florida?" she gasped. "Family reasons."

She nodded and looked around. "Well since you were on Florida State you don't have to try out. Here's my locker number meet me there after school." She said walking away.

First day and I'm already on the cheer squad. I was about to get up but the blonde from economics sat me back down. "Not so fast we just want to talk to you." She said as Lahey and a guy with color skin sat in front of me.

"Yes?" I questioned putting my phone down. "First I'm Erica, that's Boyd, and that's Isaac." She said.

"Taylor." I huffed out. "So do you want to see Derek?" Boyd asked.

"Yeah but I can't today." I said looking at the table patterns. "Why?" he asked again. "Cheer practice after school, then work, then bed." I replied tapping my fingers on the table.

Then it all connected in my head right away. I sat up fast and looked around the table.

"You're his betas aren't you?" They all nodded and I slumped back down. "How come you're not a werewolf?" Isaac asked this time.

Honestly I was so tired of answering questions I didn't speak. "Are you still mad at me?" He asked trying to get me to talk.

After a few minutes Stiles, a tan kid, and two girls ran to me. "She won't talk anymore, already tried." Erica said rolling her eyes.

"Oh! I love those shorts!" The strawberry blonde said.

"I know right they were totally worth the buying!" I squealed back.

"She talks." the brunette one said. "I'm Allison, this is Lydia, Scott and Stiles." Allison said.

"Taylor." I said for like the millionth time back. "How come you answer them but not us?"  Boyd asked. "Because they aren't throwing questions at me!" I yelled a little.

"Spoke to soon." Scott said as Stiles kneeled next to me. "Does Derek know you're here, were you forced here, and are you a werewolf?" He asked all at once.

I raised an eye brow and shook my head. The bell rang and I gave out a sigh in relief and ran away. I popped my head back in the library and said to them, "Don't tell Derek I'm here yet!"

Then ran to Biology.

After school I had to meet Kat at her locker so I looked around for it and then saw it.

"Hey you ready to meet the new team?" Kat asked handing me a uniform. "As ready as I'll ever be." I grinned following her outside to the fields.

"Ok newbies and oldies this is Taylor!" Kat yelled. "Taylor this is the team." I waved and started to stretch.

The lacrosse players came out and started warming up while trying to get a good look at all of us. Sophie was currently teaching me the steps.

It was really easy and I could fit in the whole time. I looked over and saw Stiles smiling at me. I laughed and went back to practicing.

"Taylor can you help me with my scorpion?" Tori asked me. "Sure" I lifted her leg up keeping it steady. "Just focus on your foot not balance ok?" she nodded and I let go.

"There you go" I said as she stayed put. "Could you show us a routine from Florida State?" Payton asked after drinking some water.

"Ok but I need two basket toss and catchers" I replied. Justin and Tanner came up to me and I told them what to do. They were amazed at what I could do.
