Chapter 21- Spell

Arenda's Style now^

Leland POV

I was angered, that once again my parents forgot my birthday. How hard was it to remember your sons day of birth, the only person who actually cared was my Aunt Arenda.

She sent me something nice, for when I'm bored. Honestly I wish she was my mother, my wolf growled in my head.

Bad Blood 'you incilent fool! We have the most sinister & evil parents we should bask in there sinister glory'

I rolled my eyes, he was so devoted to them he didn't realize that they truly didn't care.

Me- 'They killed our mate, they forgot out birthday multiple times, they tortured us into a killing weapon and they've never once appricated anything we have done because of me, if they could kill me and have YOU as their son they'd do it Bad Blood!

Bad Blood- 'I quit, I have to be evil Leland! Or they will find a way to seperate us, I know you miss the old us but with your parents its impossible....our mate....I miss him too' he whinned and I sighed, he may be loyal to our parents but his devotion was only to spare the pain of being seperate, my father held dark magic the ability to rip ones wolf from them and place it another body killing the human. So being devoted, never failing is the only way to stay safe and sane.

I headed toward my dad's study and he was sitting there holding a picture.

"Sit" his words cut me through like ice,

"Yes father" I replied deeply afraid I have dishonered him from my outburst.

"Son I have your birthday present in my hands, I know you'd like it" he said

"What is it?" I asked, he layed the picture in his hand and my heart dropped...it was my mate but he looked different.

Wait....

"From this day on, wynter is your dead mate that left you for another man" my dad said with his ancient voice, filled with dark magic corrupting my brain and filling it with false memories

"Must get mate" I said, but my voice was not my own.

Next thing I know I'm standing front of a pack house, growling loud.

Wynter POV

I was currently sitting in a pack meeting, its been 3 weeks since I got my babies back.

Arenda has been doing amazing since then, the pack accepted her with open arms. Her style has changed dreasticly from deadly to almost girly? She came in one day bright red, and in a summer dress because Ann got her ass about dressing like a killer assassin infront of children. I laughed but she got the hit and started dressing more appropriatly, she did keep things around the pack house well hidden from peoples eyes just incase of an invasion. She was extremely protective of Fay, I asked her once as a protective mother/father ya know what being Fay's mate meant.

~Flashback~

"Hey Arenda what does being Fay's Mate mean, since shes only like 3 weeks old" I said, she smiled holding Fay in her arms.

"It's hard to explain, its like half of the mate bond exists I'm protective of her, care for her and make sure she is happy but everything else I suppose will come out when Fay is of age" she said with a smile

"Are you really going to stick around until she's of age" she growls slightly, not with anger but out of protectition.

"I plan to stay, I can't leave her now that I found her yeah it honestly scary too me that my mate it a girl since I have allot of difficult past with males but I guess she's my future, she's my sign that I needed for a better life one day" she said as a tear trickled down her cheek

"I trust you" I said and she smiled, "Now give me my daughter so I can feed her" i chuckled as she handed me my baby

~Flashback Over~

So Tyler and I decided that since I am a guy, that Fay and Edgar would call me Papa, and tyler would be called Dad, or father. They were such adorable babies, tyler spent as much time as he could with them but he was training with the pack to get stronger since well he got kidnapped and he's indeed human.

Danger- 'when can we go for a run' my wolf whinned

Me- 'Well if my dad says it's okay then we can go now'

Danger 'Yes!'

I guess wolves got wimpy, when they haven't ran for a while. Being pregnant was hard not being able to run, also will the babies being kidnapped trying to heal my wound since wolves when under to much stress cannot heal.

It was just hectic, things have calmed down but my dad has been grouchy. He knows that the Blood Lord is after me and he doesn't want anything to happen to the family he just got back. He accepted everyone equally, heck everyone but mark calls him dad now and he loves them as his own children. Mark though he's been going down a dark path, he completely refused anything to do with Derek is mate when he found out. He goes out late, comes home with bruises like he had been fighting.

We've tried talking too him, my mother is worried sick but shes been so busy helpig out Cal with Luna work since she accepted the role. They even have a house being built for everybody except us of course we had a seperate home being built across the street actually.

But Mark, he honestly was in a dark place.

I made my way to my dads office, before I even got there....I heard a loud growl coming from outside. I heard people running out there, so I stupidly joined them. There stood being held down my multiple guards thrashing around a teenage boy around my age with bright orange hair, he looked so broken inside.

"Let me go vermin, I must save my mate" he growled, but when he said mate there was tremor. Like the control on his body was foreign to him. I could feel his pain, he was under Blood Lord's spell, his mate HAD to be dead and he was here to take me.

"Oh my god Leland!" Yelled Arenda running to him, she pushed the guards out of the way and held him she said "Forget the words told, forget the lies that have been shared" and then he collasped in his arms.

"What the hell" My dad said

"Please don't hurt him, he's...he's my son" Adrena said stroking his cheek, that was when things seemed to get EVEN more complicated.
