Chapter 27- War...Brother

How I see Mark now after, ya know. Gotta read this chapter to understand.

Wynter POV

There were people screaming, women and children being forced into the underground safety units. My twins were currently underground with my mother, and Ann since she was here with Blake but was visiting a few friends she made here.

Beside me were Blake, Kia, Cal and every warrior we had in the pack there were even some warriors coming from blakes pack.

"Hello brother" snarled a voice, that I barely recongnized. I turned around to see my brother Mark, but he didn't look like him 3 months had really did a number on him inhance wise, he looked allot older than he was.

"What are you doing Mark" I yelled as people started forming behind him.

"Helping dad of course" he winked, I knew he meant the Blood Lord.

"Why would you help him! He's evil and sick and he doesn't care about you!" I screamed at him, but he just smirked like didn't care,

"I'm embracing the dark side brother, and I love it" he signaled to the men behind him, and the charged forward toward us and I knew the battle had begun. People were screaming and yelling, I heard people dying and others whining begging for mercy.

"Stop this Mark for me!" Yelled Derek, I saw a flash of hurt in Marks eyes as he pointed again another wave of people came from behind him this time they were black and spelled like death....I wager they were demons.

"Those r blooming demons, what the hell" (Those are fucking demons, what the hell)

"I'm sorry your involved! But we must fight!" I yelled at him and he nodded with a smirk, his eyes held feelings that shook my bones I will make it out alive.

"Tsk dear brother, you already found another mate to bad I'm gonna kill him" his voice got deeper at the end telling me he wasn't in control, I could only guess who had control.

"Blood lord! Let my brother go!" I yelled, my brother smirked and lunged at me.

I didn't have much training but I faught with all my might, I heard screams, pain I felt the darkness drawing in onto the battle field if I lost nobody would be safe. If I lost my brother would never be with his mate, If I lost the blood lord would be free to take over the world.

I felt like my body was getting weaker, but I kept fighting my eyes glanced at Kia fighting with such grace as he looked at me with so much pain. So many people were fighting to protect the ones they loved and I couldn't do anything

"Yes you can" a voice said inside my head, I knew it wasn't my wolf.

Suddenly everything froze around me, nobody was moving my brother stood infront of me frozen with a knife in hand about too kill me.

"Who are you" I asked

"The moon goddess" the voice said, I gasped I only knew so much about her.

"How can I defeat this war?" I asked her

"I will give you a gift, you will be able to look inside everybody on the battle field and kill them ONLY if they are unsavable and completely corrupted by darkness" she said

"Everybody else?" I asked

"If they look into your eyes and have pure intentions they will live" she said, the risk was so high.

"I must save them, I cannot let the Blood Lord win" I said,

"The price is you must die after you use the gift, you WILL come back BUT you will be nothing more than a mortal" she said, and my heart cracked

"I will loose my wolf forever" I said

"No, you will come back a mortal but you will be tested once more through your mate if he can accept you, mate with you and want you as a mere mortal you will get your wolf back but if he rejects you, human you shall stay" the moon goddess bows her head, as our deal was made.

"I accept" I whispered a graceful tear falling down my face as I put all my heart into Kia believing...No hoping he would still accept me as a mere human.

"Good luck" she said and left, it was like the world continued but I was stronger when I looked my brother the darkness was ripped from him but he remained unconcience on the ground

"The pure will live, the corrupted will die!" My voice said, Danger overpowering me as we walked through the battle field as I looked into peoples so many people dropped dead the darkness evaporated from their body.

But so many lived, as I realized so many of the people fighting for the darkness were innocent werewolves protecting the ones they loved.

The last person on the battle field was a women, she didn't seem to be fighting anyone as I looked at her the darkness in her body was destroyed and she stood there breathless tears falling down her face.

"I am not yours no more, I am free" she whispered, she was the blood lords wife.

The battle field was silent as people smiled hugged each other, the innocent people were being escorted to the dungeons just for clarification but my body felt light empty and I realized it was time to let go.

"Goodbye" everyone turned too look at me, my fathers face a mask of true horror, Kia looked like I ripped his heart out.

As everything went black.

"Beep, beep, beep" I awoke to the sound of my heart, beside me was Kia sleeping. As I pulled his shirt he looked at me then sniffed the air, he looked confused then realized.

"ye 're human! ye gave y'r wolf up to save us!" (You're human! You gave your wolf up to save us!)

"Will you still accept me and my babies?" I asked terrified at his answer

" ye and those babies r blooming mine, now and forever!" (You and those babies are fucking mine, now and forever)

"Glad to hear that" I said pulling his shirt down so his lips would touch mine and lets just say there were fireworks

"Awwe" said voices from the door, all I know is that Kia and I definitly gave them the middle finger.
