bethany's pov:
I woke up and did my morning routine my phone vibrated it was a text from kendall that said 'meet me at the mall at 12.' I checked the time it was 11:30!!! "oh my gosh I have to get ready faster and have breakfast." I said to myself.

after getting ready and having breakfast I went to the mall to go meet up with kendall.

"hey girl!!!" I said while walking towards her to give her a hug

"hey nothing much. you are probably wondering why we are here well it's because we haven't seen each other for so long I thought we can have a girls day." she smiled

"kendall we can have a girls day any day you want." I told her

"okay where to?" I said while walking down the escalator.

"hmm I was thinking vans?" she suggested

"okay plus I need to get new shoes." we walked inside the store and bought my new vans.

after shopping kendall and I went our own ways. ring. my phone alerting me that I had a text from tanner. 'hey babe. party tonight want to come?' 'sure.' I quickly typed.

once I got back home I changed into black high waisted shorts with a black crop top.

'hey I am here.' I went to put my shoes on before I left the house.

"hey princess." tanner greeted me as I entered the car

"hey babe." I leaned over to kiss his cheek.

"so who's party are we going to?" I asked while watching the car go down the streets of San Diego.

"I think capron is hosting the party. yeah he is." he looked at me and smiled before going back to concentrate on driving.

at the party the house was packed with people and the music was pretty loud. "follow me." tanner said while grabbing my hand. we went outside to go and meet jake and kendall.

"heyyyy!!!!" tanner and I waved at jake and kendall.

"hiiii!!!!!" they both said smiling.

after a couple of hours talking kendall and I went to the kitchen to go get drinks. once we came out I saw tanner kissing another girl. "uhmm ken I don't feel good I might take an über back home see ya soon." I said trying to hold back the tears. "okay text me once you get home." I left the party and went inside the car.

I paid the driver and texted kendall. I opened the front door my parents are home because they are on a business trip. I went upstairs to take a shower and go change into my pajamas.

                      next morning
I woke up and checked my phone I had a lot of text and calls from tanner. I replied to his texts and told him that we were over.

ding. I checked it said 'what do you mean we are over?'

'well yesterday I saw you and a girl kissing while kendall and I were getting drinks.'

'babe she was the one that came up to me and gave me a kiss. plus she is my ex-girlfriend.'

I just left him on read and went downstairs to eat breakfast. I walked to the living room to watch netflix.

ding dong. the doorbell rang.

it was tanner. "babe I know you are there just let me in please."

I opened the door "what tanner?!?"

"princess I am sorry for what happened yesterday it wasn't how it looked like she came up to me and started kissing me."

"then why didn't you push her away?"

"because...I just miss her lips." he frowned

"ughh I can't believe you right now tanner just leave me alone don't bother calling me or texting me.' I shut the door and  went to my room crying.

I closed my eyes and went back to sleep.

"hey princess." tanner winked at me while walking towards me.

"hey babe." I said while smiling at him

I felt this sharp pain on my right cheek tanner just hit me.

"that's what you get for being a slut and a dumb bitch." he said as I fell to the floor

the girl that I saw him kissing at the party came next to him and laughed at me as I fell.

I cried.

I woke up from my dream crying I wish tanner was here but I just needed a break from him.

I took a shower and changed into shorts and a shirt. I went to my car and drove to subway. I ordered my usual and I felt someone staring at me I looked around it was tanner with his girlfriend. I turned back to the guy making my sandwich and paid for it.

I walked as fast as I could outside of that subway so I wouldn't have to face talking to tanner.

I went back home and ate my sandwich. I scrolled down instagram and saw a picture of him and the girl holding hands the caption says 'with my favorite girl I love you princess 😘.' hey that's what tanner used to call me I was about to cry but I held it in. I threw my sandwich away and sat on the couch.

'hey is this bethany?' I got a text from a random person

'yes and who are you?'

'it's nick. we met at the party at the funk's house.'

'oh hey.'

'so I was wondering if you want to go on a date tomorrow?'

'okay sure what time?'

'5. just send me your address.'

I sent him my address

'I will see you tomorrow cutie.'

'okay bye.'

I needed to get my mind off of tanner so I guess I should go on a date with nick.

I went upstairs and fell asleep.
