"Y/N, please don't go." Sam said as you finished packing.
"Look, I'm sick of Dean's crap and after drunk Dean taking his anger out on me last night I can't handle it anymore, you know how I feel about him." You explained to Sam.
Sammy was your best friend and the brother you never had, Dean was the lover you could never have. It had only been a few months since you started hunting with the boys, after your dad died you teamed up with the boys. You grew close to them so fast, especially Sam, he reminded you of your older brother Mason who had died with your father the night they went on a hunt with the boys. You had planned to stay with the boys until you were done grieving, but then you started getting the feels for Dean.
"I know he can be difficult, but he cares about you too, I'm sure he didn't mean anything last night." Sammy's eyes were on the verge of tears, it shot through your heart. You hated to leave him, but it had to be done.
Dean made it clear in his angry drunk state last night he didn't want you around. Everything he said and then when he actually hit you. You never thought he'd hurt you physically but he did, right in the side leaving a nice purple and black bruise.
"It hurts too much to stay Sammy. I'm sorry." You said as Sam hung his head.
"Okay, fine, I'm not going to fight with you. You always have a home with us, I love you Y/N. I have to go out for some air though, don't leave until I get back." Sam pulled you into a big hug and then walked toward the door.
You finished packing and dropped your backpack to the floor. The door creaked open and in popped Dean.
"What do you think your doing?" Dean said in his deep raspy voice you loved.
"Waiting for Sammy to get back, I'm leaving." You said standing up from where you'd been sitting.
"What? Why?" Dean said, did you actually sense concern in his voice?
"I'm sick of all this. Plus you made it pretty clear that 'pathetic princess Y/N should just leave you all the heck alone because all I am is a burden.'" You said mocking his voice that still rung in your ears from last night. "And I don't want to be hit again." You added without thinking.
"Wha...what? I hit you?" Dean's facial expression completely changed.
Dean was seriously concerned. His eyes looked you up and down as if scanning you to see if there was any visible signs of him hurting you. You instinctively grabbed your side that he had punched yesterday as if he could possibly see through your shirt.
"Yeah, it's nothing though. I'm a worrier." You say trying to act tough.
"Y/N, seriously I never meant to hurt you, especially physically." Dean's voice was shaky.
"Look it's fine. I'll be gone before you know it and you'll forget about it and me." You said picking up your bag.
"Stop," His voice was stern, "you're not going anywhere. I won't let you. Y/N, I was mad last night and drunk, you and Sammy have this chemistry that I could only wish for with you. Yeah I bring home girls, but they don't mean a thing, I look at you and wish I could be with you, I never meant to hurt you, and I promise it won't ever happen again....Y/N, I....I love you." He was venting, and he probably didn't mean to say anything..wait did he just profess his love to you?!
"Dean...I... um, I." His lips were on yours and you kissed back, you had wanted this for so long.
"Drop your pack princess, you aren't going anywhere." You felt Dean's smirk against your lips and you followed his order, and to be honest, you didn't want to go anywhere.
Dean's hand went to the small of you back and pulled you even closer while his other hand was gently gripping the back of your head, you had both your arms around his shoulders.
"Dean I love you. I have for a while." You said in short bursts trying not to break the kiss for too long.
"I know, I felt the same way since I laid eyes on you." He said as he leaned back and looked at you in the eyes, his hand caressing your cheek.
"Sammy will be back soon." You said glancing at the clock on the wall, it had been nearly an hour.
"Well, we don't have time for what I want to do with you." Dean's smiled ear to ear and winked at you.
"Maybe another time you said." Interlacing your fingers with his.
"I do want to see where I hit you love, I will make this right." Dean looked at you seriously.
You lifted your shirt up a bit and showed him your black and blue side. His eyes welled with tears.
"I am so sorry." He said as he bent down and kissed your bruise.
"Dean, I told you, I'm fine." You said as you met his gorgeous green eyes.
Dean stood up, and sat down on the bed and pulled you to his lap. He wrapped his muscular arms around you and just sat there for a minute.
"Dean, I hate to ruin this but your hurting me." You laugh and hugged his neck.
The door opened and you and Dean bother jumped.
"Woah. Sorry, I didn't mean to intrude." Sam said as he walked in.
"Go away, you're ruining the mood Sammy." Dean joked.
"It's about time you two professed your love for each other," Sam was smiling ear to year, "soooo, are you guys like a thing now?"
"I don't know. Are we a thing love?" Dean looked at you and nuzzled his head in your neck waiting for an answer
"Oh, I think we are a thing." You said as you kissed the top of Dean's head.
"Good, I was hoping you'd say that." Dean was smiling the biggest you'd ever seen. He looked happy for once.
Dean got up and moved to lay down on the bed after he shed his jeans, he motioned for you to lay beside him, so naturally you did the same.
"So are you going to stay." Both brothers said it at the same time.
You smiled and said "Yeah, I think I'll stay."
