Chapter 20- Anniversary

Gajeel POV

it has been 5 years since me and Levy have been together. 5 years since she gave birth to our amazing twins Liam and Emma.

this is a really important day for me becuase its our anniverary and i'm making shrimp a ring. i was ment to propose before but shrimp still wanted to get to know me a bit more and wanted to know more about her.

right now i'm in the office sketching my designs of what the ring would look like. it's so frickin hard. it's been 6 hours and i can't think of anything to draw.

'Hey sherife' i turn around and i see shrimp wih the kids. i smile she smiles back.

'DADDY!' the kids screamed. i ran over to them and hugged them and put each kid on either side on my shoulders. i crouch down and kiss levy lightly.

'what you guys doing here?' i asked smiling

'oh you know the kids wanted to see you and i wanted to say...' she kissed me and then said 'happy anniversary' and giggled.

'happy anniversary shrimp gihee' we both chuckled.

'mummy come on...we need to get dinner ready' emma said jumping with exitment. and Liam ran to shrimp aswell.

'oh...making dinner are we?' i said smiling.

'yep...after me and the kids make dinner they are going to stay at nannie Marys...you and me are going to be all alone' she whisperd that last bit in my ear which made me chuckle.

'well...i'll just see you later then' i whisperd back in her ear and kissed her.

'ewww...emma mum and dad are being weird again' Liam said pretending to throw up. making me and shrimp laugh.

'come on guys...lets leave Daddy to do his job' levy said. walking to the door. the kids hugged me and ran to their mother. when they left i went straight to my desk to design the ring.

in case your wondering i' quick at making jewlery. in high school i got A's at design tech and art. making a ring is a pice of cake.

i found a plain silver ring band hidden in one of the draws. i hen found some other kinds of iron material and i used them to create my ring for shrimp.

3 hours later.

finally it's finished. i looked at the clock SHIT 6:00pm. chrimp will be expecting me by now. i quickly get into my car and drive home.

Levys POV

i have just dropped the kids off at marys and i'm setting the table. i look at the clock and see that it's 6:00pm hopefull gajeel will be back any minute.

i went upstairs and put on a nice red dress with red laced sleeves. and black boots that ended 6 inches from my ankles.

i set the table up and put the plates on. i lit 3 candles. i looked out the living room window and saw gajeels car outside. i quickly ran to the kitchen to get the food out me and the kids prepared for tonight and i heard the door open then close.

'Hey shrimp' i heard Gajeel from the living room and i came out the kitchen with the meal we both had for the very first time. gajeel just chuckled.

'hey Gajeel'. i put the meal down on the table and ran over to gajeel and jumped in his arms and kissed his warm soft lips. and he kissed me back.

'so whats for dinner?' he asked and i walked him over to the table. there was a bottle of wine and two wine glasses. we sat down and i dished out the dinner.

we ate and spoke about our days at work. (i fogot to mention Levy works at the McGarden estate with her mum and dad) and we joked and i told Gajeel about cooking the dinner with Liam and Emma.

an hour later i brought out desert and this is where gajeels gift was. on the side was a dark blue box in a shape of a square. the desert was homemade chocolate fudge cake. and i brought in the double cream to put on the cake.

i placed the plate on the table and gajeel eyed the box straight away and i just smiled.

'whats this?' he asked when he picked up the box. he opened it and smiled.

gajeels POV

i opened the small box and saw a metel love heart i could tell it was handmade because it was a bit wonky but i didn't care i thought it was cute.

'open the love heart' shrimp demanded smiling i opened it and smiled even more. there was a picture of our very first family photo. i just smiled and ran over to shrimp and kissed her.

'i have something for you too shrimp' levys golden brown eyes looked deep into mine and smiled. i got up and lightly dragged her towards me. i then got on one knee and placed her on my other knee. i saw her cheeks turn red.

'Levy McGarden...we have been together not married for five years and to be honest i already felt married to you the first 4 weeks you moved in...anyway we have two beautiful children and i couldn't be any more happier having a beautiful gil like you and the most hilarious family in my life. Levy i love you so Much and ever since i first met you in the supermarket you changed me somehow and i have never been more thankful for that. so i waited till our 5 year anniversary to say this one special question-'

'yes' levy interupted me. i just glared at her in a joke way.

'exuse me shrimp at least let me say the question' she laughed and i just chuckled.

'Levy Mcgarden...will you Marry me?' i saw her smile and tears flowing down her face.

'Yes...Gajeel i wuld love to marry you...i love you so much.

i put the ring on Levys finger. the ring was plain with a diamond rose on the middle of it. she smiled and jumped in my arms and kissed me. it was the longest kiss ever. i never wanted it to stop it was the most amazing anniversary ever.

if i never met shrimp i wouldn't be the man i am today. i can't belive i'm going to marry my sisters best friend....

i hope you liked this chapter. i loved it so much i thought it was quite cute.

only two more chapters left. i really don't want this book to end but i'm running out of ideas. :(

anyway can't wait to write the next chapter.....
