Mommy and me are having a party for my birthday tomorrow. I wish I could see my daddy.

I rock Alice on my knee and quietly hum Starlight by Muse. It's my favourite song ever, and Alice loves it. She giggles and turns to look at me in the eye. She's honestly so adorable...And she looks so much like Dean. "Mommy," She claws her hand into my shirt and I pull her up for a hug. "Yes, sweetie?" When she looks at me again the smile has disappeared from her face. "Can daddy come?" Oh God. The moment I was dreading. "I don't think he'll be able to, honey," I play with her hair and give her a look of sympathy; She looks as if she's about to start crying. "But I want to see daddy!" The last time Dean came over was around two years ago. We haven't seen him since, or kept in contact. "I'm so sorry, Alice," It's almost bedtime, for her, and I'm sat on her bed, trying desperately not to make her upset. Alice got under the covers to hide away from me. After that, I could hear quiet sobbing. When Dean came over, they had a pretty strong bond. He was so good with her, too. "Oh, Alice," I gently lifted up the covers and she leant up immediately for a hug. "I could try and organize something," Once that had slipped out of my mouth, there was no getting away with excuses. I had to ring Dean, for Alice. "Yay!" She climbed back into bed with a smile on her face, and closed her eyes. "I love you mommy," She muffled under the sheets as I kissed her forehead. "I love you, too," I turned out the lights and left the room. Now, time to call him.

Hunts with Sam and Robyn were going pretty well at the moment. In fact, we were meant to be on a case right now, but Sam decided that he wanted to do some more research. So, here we were at the bunker, basically waiting around for Sam, having coffee. Without warning, my phone started ringing. Really, who would call me at 7:30 in the morning? Oh well, gets me out of this waiting around process. Oh...Oh. To my surprise, it was Lilliana.
"Hey...Dean..." She started, sounding nervous. "Hey, Lil," I replied, walking into the hallway for a bit of space. There was a dreaded silence for several seconds. "Are you okay?" I asked, breaking the awkwardness. "Yeah, I just, I wondered if you... It's Alice's birthday tomorrow, so um..." She paused, then continued, "I was wondering if you wanted to come over, I mean, if it's no trouble," Crap, I almost forgot about her birthday. Three years..."I don't know, I might be able to come over for a little bit," Depending on whether we were going on the actual hunt tomorrow or not, anyway. "Okay. Alice was upset earlier because she wants to see you, Dean, so I kind of promised her that I'd call you." Damn, I feel bad. "Lilliana, I'm sorry. What time do you want me over?"
"Any time during morning? If that's okay. I have work in the afternoon." She sighed. "Oh, okay. Listen, how about I come over in the evening? Or are you working then? We could throw a little party, y'know, just us three,"
"Okay, that sounds like a good idea. Is 6:30 alright for you?"
"Alright see you then."
So that was settled. I was going over Lil's to celebrate my daughter's birthday tomorrow.

"I'm sorry Miss Heidrun, I have to take the payment now," The babysitter, Jessie, addressed. Jessie was a middle-aged woman who had a thing for colouring her hair in the most adventurous colours. She gave me a discount that nobody knew about, so, eh, whatever. My money was pretty low at the moment. Especially as it was Alice's birthday. I rummaged around in my bag for some cash that I could give to her. "Here," I handed her ten dollars and quickly rushed out of the door to work before I was late.
Arrived at work late. Boss is probably gonna fire me soon. Damn it, Jessie.
When I got back from work, I was a little late, and Dean was waiting outside on the porch. "Hey, sorry I'm late," I sighed, opening the door to let him in and let Jessie go. "Thank you," I mouthed to her as she left. I caught her eyes widen, which was probably because she saw Dean, then she quickly rushed out the door. Dean smiled politely and Alice ran up to him. "Daddy!!!" Dean lifted her up and span her around, making her giggle delightfully. This just made my day. Dean seemed so happy, chuckling when he stopped and kissed the top of her head. "How's my princess?" I seriously wish you could see how cute this was. "I'm okay. How are you, daddy?" She smiled. "I'm alright, sweetheart," Dean puts her down and turns to me, smiling. "I'm gonna go and get changed. Alice, go and show your daddy what you got this morning!" I half knelt down and gestured to go in the sitting room, so Dean followed her as she ran into the room.

"Daddy, look!" Alice points to all of the presents still left to unwrap. "Well you can add another one to your pile," I take a small parcel out of my pocket and hand it to her, making her gasp. "Thank you!" She smiles, shyly, waving her arms in left and right motions, still holding the parcel. Within a few minutes, Lil comes back down. God, it's been ages since I last saw her, but I feel so at home. Just as always, she's wearing her hair naturally down, no makeup, a men's (I believe) Captain America t-shirt with Marvel logo printed bottoms, and finally, fluffy rainbow monster slippers. Ah, yes, this is why I love her, I thought to myself. I gave her a smile and walked over to her. "Boy, I've missed you," I stated. "Me too," She tucked her hair behind her ear. "C'mon, let's get this party started!" I announced, Alice cheering.
