Chapter 4

CATHERINE'S POV:

I ran to my table and grabbed my phone. I quickly went to my mom's room and woke her up.

"Catherine, what's wrong?"Mom asked me. "Mom I am sorry I did not tell you this but this day in school a vampire has been chasing me and asked me to go with him he also took me home when he put me to sleep. He is here right now." I told her while rapidly shaking her." Catherine take me to the vampire.

JOANA'S POV(CATHERINE'S MOM):

Some vampire went up to her at school? During her class? I have a bad feeling about this. I hope it's not him. Let me explain to you.

<Flashback>

"Miss Joana am I correct?" Asked a man wearing a black coat and I can see his face he is extremely good looking and I can sense that he is a vampire so I precautiously stepped back. " What do you want with me?" I asked. I recognized him quickly. He is pureblood vampire Matt Stephens. I gasped and said "Matt Stephens?" I asked. " Yes. And I am here to ask you a favor." and that is when I noticed he is holding a baby girl. "I want you to take care of her until she reaches the age of 17." He said. "Okay"I agreed to him for this is a great chance to raise a child. " I she a vampire?" I asked. " Yes she was." He replied a little glumly. "was?" I asked eager to know why. " My mother turned her to a human and took her memory." He replied. "Good day" and with that he left.

CATHERINE'S POV:

I took my mom to the living room and I saw him we all sat on the sofa. Then he said. " It's time already." He said then my mom nods her haid in response. I don't get it. " Catherine, remember when I told you you are not my daughter?" She asks me. I nod in response.
