Chapter 1

Catherine's POV

Bbbbbbrrrrriiinnnngggg.....bbbbrrrriiiinnnnggg.... I groaned sitting up on my bed and turing off the alarm clock. Aaaarrrrrggghhhhh...... I hate School days especially mondays. I got off my bed put on my slippers and went to the bathroom and showered. I was half asleep so I turned on the shower. Just to clear things I do not have my clothes on. "OH MY F***ING GOSH! The water is on cold!' I put it on warm and quickly showered.

I changed into jeans and a t-shirt that says I <3 NYC and curled my hair the usual thing I do. I piccked up my phone and my bag.

I went downstairs and saw my mom cooking.

"Morning mom"  I greeted her and kissed her on the cheek. "Morning Catherine now sit and eat the pancakes you are almost late." I quickly ate my pancakes and drank my water and took an apple from the basket. I walked out the door to my school. I live near the school about 3 blocks away.

As soon as I entered the school building my friend Dana hugged me ver tightly that I can't breathe."Dana! I can't breathe!"

"Oops sorry I just missed you!" She let go of me. "Can you believe we are finally 4th years?! It will be so great today...bla...blah...blah" She kept on talking but not to be rude to her I did not listen but smile at her when she looks my way. I mean come on how can I think straight?! Just then I feel someone looking at me so I turned around and found nothing. "Cath come on we're late"Dana said. " okay coming!" we ran to the classroom.

I am listening to our teacher it is actually our last period.Yay!

Just then there was a knock on the door and when my teacher opened it there was the most handsome guy I've ever seen and all of us dropped our mouths open.

"May I excuse Catherine Jones please?" My mouth hang open.

Oh he wants to talk with....Who the what now?!

"Miss Jones he is calling for you." The teacher said.

I went outside. I waited for him to talk.

"Come with me for I am your brother." ??? Guy said.

"I don't even have a brother!" I exclaimed. Confusion written over my face.

"You must come with me now!" He raised his voice and I was startled.

I started to panic! I went in the classroom and told the teacher I do not know him but then he suddenly opened the door and went to grab me but I saw his fangs so I pulled out Artemis. By the way my parents believed in vampires so they gave me Artemis. The teacher and the other students seemed shocked......
