chapter 26

Jason POV

I can't sleep. I can't eat. I can't do anything knowing that Autumn is dying. Autumn has been out for 5 days and Matt says she's getting worse and worse. I don't understand why she can't just wake up, she's a fighter and she'll fight threw this. I know she will.

I'm sitting on the chair next to Autumn's bed and I'm just watching her sleep. I'm holding her hand tightly knowing I'm never going to let her go. She has to wake up, she just has too.

"Autumn if you can here me, please wake up. I know you can do this because I know your strong. I'm not ever going to let you go," I felt a tear running down my right cheek. "I'm sorry Autumn."

That's when it happened. HER EYELIDS FLUTTERED. She slowly, very slowly opened her eyes. How can this be? I thought she was going to die?

I got up from my chair and looked at her closely. She opened her eye all the way and gave me a slight smile.

"Oh my god, Autumn your awake." I cried.

"Why did you want me to die?" Asked Autumn jokingly.

"Of course not, I'm just very surprised." I cried again then gave her a quick hug. "You don't understand how long I've been waiting for you to wake up, I literally thought you were just going to die on me."

"I don't know what happened. I just finally got the strength to open my eyelids," she said while covering her body with a blanket more securely. "Jason I'm sorry about the car and not listening to-" I cut her off before she could finish.

"Autumn, I don't care about that stupid car. All I care about is you." I said seriously.

"Jason, I love you." She cried. I wiped the tears that her sprawling down her face.

"I love you too Autumn, and I always will." I smiled. "But for right now you have to get some sleep and I'll leave you alone okay?" I asked.

She nodded, then I gave her a kiss on her forehead and walked out of the room. I walked down to the living room where everyone was watching tv. I sat down next to Derek and Tyler.

"How is she?" Asked Alex.

"She finally woke up," I smiled.

"That's great!" Basically everyone yelled.

"I know, but for now I just want to give her time to sleep and rest." I said then focused on the tv.

After about 2 hours we heard little tiny footsteps coming down the stairs. We turned our attention to who's coming down? Autumn... What she should be up. She should be in bed and resting.

I walked up to her and picked her up bridal style. I brought her down to wear I was sitting and payed her head on my chest while her feet dangled off and hit Tyler.

"What are you doing up? Your suppose to be sleeping." I whispered to Autumn.

"I woke up and felt hungry," she whispered back.

"Okay, I'll go get you some food and you stay here." I said while trying to get up but she wouldn't let go of me.

"Don't leave me," she whispered while burring her face in my chest.

"But I have to go and get you some food," I said while wrapping my arm around her.

"No, take me with you." She said. I picked her up like a child and brought her to the kitchen. I sat her down on the counter and I started getting my ingredients. I made her some Mac and cheese.

She ate it then after I washed her plate. I brought her back to the living room and sat back down where we sat before. We started watching tv with everyone else but then Derek decided to be a dick as usual.

"How you feeling Autumn?" He asked her with a disgusting smirk.

"Good," she whispered shyly then snuggled in my chest.

"Well that's good, how's Jason's been treating you?" He asked.

"Derek shut the fuck up!" I said to him angrily. I knew Autumn didn't like it because she just flinched. I wrapped my arm around her so she would know I didn't mean to yell.

"Why Jason? I was just curious. So Autumn how has Jason been treating you?" He asked again.

"Good," she whispered.

"Good, have you guys had sex yet?" He asked. That's when Logan who was sitting next to Derek hit him on the arm indicating that he took it a bit to far. "What? I'm just curious." He said like an idiot.

Autumns shook her head. "No," she whispered lightly but then snuggled into my chest even deeper. I knew Autumn was uncomfortable in this conversation.

"Awww, your still a little virgin." Teased Derek.

"Derek that's enough," said Matt.

"Yeah, Derek just shut up." Said Lisa.

"Why? It's not my fault Autumns 17 years old and she's still a virgin. I lost mine when I was 12. How old were you guys?" He asked everyone.

"None of you business," said Hayden.

"Why are you guys embarrassed?" Asked Derek sarcastically. That's when I had it.

"Just shut the fuck up Derek or I'll kick you out of my house!" I yelled.

"You can't do that," he smirked.

"Oh really why can't I?" I asked.

"Because I'm the only one in the gang you can disable a alarm less then 15 seconds," he smirked like it was a big accomplishment.

"I don't care if your snug part in this gang. If you don't stop with your perverted remarks then I'm going to literally kick you out of the gang." I said then picked Autumn up and took her to my room. I laid her down on my bed and pulled the covers over. "I'm sorry about Derek," I apologized to her.

"Its fine, but I have a question for you?" She asked shyly.

"What is that?" I asked curiously.

"How old were you when you lost your virginity?" She asked but then covered her face because of the embarrassment. I smiled then pulled the covers off her face.

"I was 13," I answered simply.

"Oh, am I late?" She asked but I just chuckled a little.

"Of course not. Your just not ready." I said while running my finger down her cheek softly.

"Ok," she said then closing her eyes because she was tired.

"Goodnight little one," I said then kissed the top of her head.

"Goodnight Jason," she said the fell right to sleep.

I walked out and went to my office to do more gang stuff while waiting for Autumn to wake back up.
