chapter 24

Ella's POV

Later on that day Jason had to go to a meeting with his gang, and Carmen and Mia went to visit Carmen's family so it's just me in the house.

Currently, I'm watching tv with a bowl of chips in my hand. The TV show went to commercial and I went to the kitchen to refill my bowl. I got in the kitchen and looked threw every cabinet but couldn't find anymore chips.

I wanted to go buys some, and borrow a car because they had like hundreds of them but I had to call Jason. Why wouldn't he say no the market shouldn't be that far away is it? I don't know it worth a try. I picked up the house phone and dialed Jason's number. (If your wondering how I got his number Jason gave it to me just in case of anything happened.) It rand three times before Jason picked up.

Me: Hey, Jason.

Jason: ella what's wrong? Why did you call?

Me: don't worry Jason I just wanted to know if I can borrow a car and go to the market to buy some chips?

Jason: No.

Me: What? Why?

Jason: Because your 17 years old and don't have your drivers license yet which is kinda sad.

Me: So I'm not going to get pulled over.

Jason: Its still a no.

Me: Pleaseeee Jason.

Jason: NO, ella!

Me: Fine, whatever bye.

Then I hanged up on him. I don't see why I can't just go up the road to buy a bag of fucking chips. He's so paranoid over everything. Just because he said no doesn't mean I have to follow his rules. I'm probably going to get in trouble for this, but whatever.

I took the car keys from the top shelf and headed to the garage. I picked Jason's white Ferrari and went into the drivers seat. I out the key into its ignition and backed out of the driveway. I was on a dirt road and probably if I go straight then I'll end up on a real road.

I know how to drive a car because my parents taught me when they taught Chris how to drive. They said only use it for emergencies just in case if anything happens. I learned faster than Chris that's for sure. I was 11 years old at the time but still remember it as if it was yesterday.

I was in the middle of driving and I turned on the radio. 'Beauty and the Beat,' was on and I love this song. I was in the middle of jamming out when all the sudden a squirrel came out of no where and crossed the road. I didn't want to hit it so I took a sharp right as hard as I could. The car went tumbling all over the place and down the huge mountain. Before it rolled to the bottom the car it the tree and that's when it stopped.

I was petrified. Oh. My. Gosh. Jason's going to kill me. That's the first thing that on my mind. I didn't even think about my wounded body, but I did feel a sharp pain on my right hip. I looked down and saw a huge piece of glass jammed in my thigh. I couldn't move the steering wheel was jamming my legs in so I couldn't move at all. I couldn't even feel my legs at this point. Who's going to help me out of here?

That's when I heard a car stop at the top of the mountain. I couldn't look up but I knew there were a few people coming out of the car because I heard multiple doors close. I heard leaves brushing against the people's feet while the went down the mountain looking for me. That's when my hero came looking threw my window... Jason.

WHAT THE FUCK???? How the hell did he know I was here? How did he get here so fast? What the hell happened to his meeting? He's like a super hero.

"J-Jason h-help m-me," I stuttered while whispering because of how weak I was.

"It's okay baby, your going to be okay." He assured me.

"T-t-the c-car," I warned him.

"I don't care about the fucking car ella, all we need to do is get you out of here." He said while opening the car door.

"I-I can't m-move J-Jason," I cried. I can't take this much pain.

"It's okay, we are going to get you out of here." He said.

"J-Jason it h-hurts," I cried even louder.

"Don't worry ella." He said while trying to get the steering out of my lap.

"I'm tired Jason," I whispered to him trying to keep my eyes opened.

"No, ella you have to stay awake." He panicked.

"I'm s-so s-sorry J-Jason. I should of l-listened to y-you," I cried again.

"I don't care baby girl, just keep your eyes open." He was shaking my body.

"I-I c-can't J-Jason. I-I'm s-so sorry," I can't take it anymore. I can't even explain how much pain I'm in right now.

"Baby apple worm, just don't leave me. Please baby don't go." He cried while hold my hand.

"I love you Jason." I said one last time before I closed my eyes completely.
