Katelyn's POV
After pulling into the parking lot of the church the ceremony was being held in, Chandler got out of the driver's seat and came over to the passenger side and opened the door, holding his hand out.
I smiled and took it, stepping out of the car.
We walked into the building and signed in.
I turned towards Chandler. "I'm gonna go see if I can find Monica," I told him. "She said she wanted to see me before the ceremony starts."
"Okay," he replied. "I better not hear anything about her shooting you."
I laughed and leaned in, kissing him on the cheek before heading off.
I walked down a wooden hallway, stopping when I heard the sound of girls giggling behind a door and knowing that I was in the right place.
Chuckling, I knocked on the door.
It opened a moment later, and there stood Monica, looking absolutely gorgeous.
Her dress looked like this:
"Oh my gosh!" I squealed as she pulled me into a hug. "You look gorgeous!"
"Why, thank you," she said, with a British accent (that was way better than mine), putting her hand on her chest.
She took my hand and led me over to the couch.
"So are you nervous?" I asked.
"Extremely," she admitted, laughing. "But I'm pretty confident. Nothing has spun out of control yet."
"Good," I said, nodding.
Suddenly, a smile came on her face and she put her hands on my knees.
"What about you and Chandler?" she asked. "How are you two doing?"
"We're good," I said honestly. "We're great."
"Well I see there's still no ring on your finger," she commented. "Have you guys talked about it?"
I shook my head profusely. "No," I sighed.
"Come on," she encouraged. "You guys have been together for almost a year now."
"I know couples that dated for 3-4 years before getting married," I pointed out. I laughed. "Not everybody can get married after dating for like 5 months like you and Mike."
Monica laughed along with me. "Yeah, I guess not."
She glanced at the clock before turning back to me. "You and Chandler better go find your seats," she said. "The ceremony is about to start."
I nodded and we stood up and hugged.
"Good luck and have fun," I told her before heading out.
I walked into the room that the wedding was being held in and found Chandler.
I walked over and sat next to him, looping my arm through his.
We watched as everybody started walking me down the aisle. I was finally able to see Mike. He had well kept brown hair with a light muscular build.
As "Here Comes the Bride" started to play, everyone stood up and looked to the entrance.
Monica and her dad came into the room, her arm looped through his. She was carrying a bouquet of white roses.
I realized the best part of this moment wasn't seeing Monica walk down the aisle, it was seeing Mike's face light up and his eyes fill with love.
When she finally got to him and everyone sat down, Mike and Monica locked hands and turned towards the priest as he started talking.
Once he was done with his speech, the newlyweds leaned forward and kissed, earning a standing ovation from the crowd.
As we clapped, I saw the couple radiate pure love. I looked to Chandler, realizing that I wanted this to be us.
Hopefully sooner than later.
