Chapter 3

She sat up in the bed and looked around. There were no signs of Jason or the twins and that worried her. She moves the red lace comforter from off of her. She straightens the bed back up and notices the clothes that were set on it. She picks them up one by one. Among various others she saw a gorgeous pink silk a-line sweetheart dress embroidered with small diamond studs lined like a butterfly, a few different crop tops, some shorts and skirts, and some high waisted skinny jeans. She tries on a couple outfits and narrows her choices down to 3.



After a long consideration she went with the white crop top and and high waisted jeans and some white tennis shoes that sat next to the bed. She put the other clothes in the nearby closet and walks into the bathroom to take a shower. After her shower she gets dressed and looks around the hotel. "Sam, Jessie?!" She shouts looking unable to find them.

Where the hell are they?

"Jason?!" She shouts. "I know you're here. I can just feel it." She states. She hears a distant chuckle and rolls her eyes. She turns around and he's standing behind her with a smug grin on his face. "You called princess?" He says smiling. "That's not funny dickface" she says hitting him in the arm. "Hey, that's assaulting an officer." He mumbles rubbing his arm. "Where are they?" "Who?" "My sisters shithead!" "Oh, they went into hiding, by he bookshelf over there." He says laughing. "No they aren't." "They're invisible." "How do even know that they're still here." "Because cake doesn't float on it's own." He says taking the 'Floating' chocolate cake into his hands. "HEY!!! Give it back!" They shout reappearing. "Fine. Then don't do that unless I tell you to or its necessary." He says handing them back the cake.

I'm an outcast of my own family. I'll never stand by anyone. I will always walk alone.  she thinks to herself.

"Princess, you look great." He says smiling. She rolls her eyes and sits down in the chair across from the window. "When are we leaving?"

"Once the rain stops."

  "I can help with that..." She says. She closes her eyes clearing her mind and opens them and envisions the rain stopping and the clouds parting revealing the sun and smile once the rain ceased and the sun comes out and a rainbow creeps across the sky. "I guess it's time go." She says looking back at her sisters. "BUT, they're going to my aunt's house. I will not have them put into any dangerous situation whatsoever."

"Whatever you say princess."

She looked from beyond the window of the car as they drove off and tried to hold in her tears as she watched her sisters wave goodbye from the porch of her Aunt Kimberley's house. "You did the right thing." "Shut up Jason. Just take me to where you're taking me."She says turning around and sitting down. "Fine." He says sighing.
She takes a deep breath and closes her eyes and slowly drifts off to sleep. ,"Get the girl out of the car Lieutenant Matthews..." A voice says in a cold tone. There's a slightly pause before the door she was leaning against, opens outward. She shifts away from the door and keeps her eyes shut afraid of what she would find. "There's no need for that... I'll take her." Jason says causing her to relax. Just knowing he's ok makes her feel relax and safe but those feeling safe with Jason made her worry. "Don't worry your pretty little head about anything. I'll make sure that you're safe princess." She opens her eyes and sees a room similar to her old one. The half of the room was sky-blue and covered in clouds and the door led to the walk in closet. The other half decorated like a starry night sky where her bed and desk where. The only difference was that she couldn't find the door. The wall was translucent so she could kinda see out, but not that much... ,She stands up slowly and walks over to the wall seeing a male there. "let me out of here. A voice comes from somewhere in her room. "you do know that he can't hear you. Right?" She turns around quickly but sees nobody. "Who's there?!" She felt a gently touch on her cheek. "There's no need to yell kitten, I'm right here..." She looked around, but still saw nothing. "This isn't funny. Show yourself you prick." She said backing up slowly. "Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. That's no way to talk to someone who is in charge of you now is it?",She felt an arm drape over her shoulder and she turns to see a guy and he was shirtless, showing off his perfect toned six pack, standing beside her. "Who are you",There was a loud sigh before she heard Jason's voice. "What are you doing in here Eric?" She runs over to him and hides behind him holding onto his shirt. "Just introducing myself to the beautiful young woman..." He replies with a smirk. He walks over to her and smiles "I'll see you around." Jason stands in front of her protectively and Eric lets out an irritated sigh. Giving a small smirk he pushes past Jason, bumping him slightly, and walks outside.
Once Eric is gone and the door closes behind him Jason turns and sets his hand on Katherine's arm and looks down at her. "Did he hurt you?" She shakes her head no and hugs him.,He smiles down at her and wraps an arm around her. "Thank you." She mumbles and backs up a bit. ,"Come on. I'll show you around." He says grabbing her hand. He walks over and to the wall and the door automatically opens. "How did you just do that?" "magic..." "Really?" "No it opens automatically unless it's locked... Your room is special. It was a room that we used to monitor training sessions but I thought you would like it."he says as they walk down the long corridor. "you decorated it yourself?" She asks causing him to chuckle. "No. I had some help." A girl comes up and laughs. "And by that he means me... I basically did it all since he gas no artistic bones in his body." Katherine laughs slightly. "Katherine this is Sarah. Sarah this is Katherine." "I know... You have been talking nonstop about her since you got back" He laughs nervously. "Let's not mention that."
