-----------Chapter 5---------

Mason´s POV

After about half an hour of hearing annoying giggles in the plane, I couldn’t handle it anymore and decide to open my eyes, I seemed like Ethan was thinking the same thing because we both open them at the same time. Suddenly the giggling stopped and we meet two old ladies, they could easily be our grandmothers! I mean are you kidding us! We thought they had around 16 or 18, 21 at the most... This will be a long plane ride, especially after they started flirting with us! GROSS!

As soon as the plane arrived at LAX, we were both relieved, and happy to be back home, I didn’t matter that we got here 1 day behind our schedule, what mattered is that we were here and were going to get really far from the old scary ladies.

We grabbed our luggage and started to make our way outside were thankfully my 2nd best friend, Paul, who also happens to be my omega greeted us with a wide smile, but at the moment I couldn’t concentrate on him, my eyes were glued to the bright new red Ferrari behind him, and I promise that the next thing that happen, was the last I expected;

“Well, your father got you a present” Paul started “it is more of a birthday present”

Right! My birthday! I totally forgot about it, it was in 1 week, exactly 1week before Ethan´s, but I was turning 19, I was a year older.  That same day I was going to take the Alpha position from my dad, and I had to seriously start looking for a mate, because it is hard to handle a wolf´s temperament, and it was harder for an alpha, but due to the fact that females turn until their 18th birthday and males on their 15th, I at least had a little bit more control over my transformation and emotions than a female would have, but that doesn’t mean I can’t lose control of myself in some situations.

“What?!?! Are you kidding me? He got me a freaking Ferrari, I knew it was going to be awesome and that there was a big chance it was going to be a car, but a Ferrari?!?!” my friends nodded in agreement, and after that we all got in MY NEW FERRARI and I drove off, and let me tell you it was not an easy task… there where 3 big male wolfs in a 2 seat car, and because I was alpha my size was a lot bigger than most, and because Ethan was my beta his sight was also bigger, but not as big as me…

As soon as we got home I parked my car and went to my dad´s office to thank him, I hugged and kissed my mom, and basically said hi to the whole pack, and last but not least, went to see my sisters. I have two younger sisters, Lexi who is 8 and Rachel who is 6, they are both really noisy and love princesses, that´s why they usually force me of whoever is around to play as the prince, apart from this they really, really, really love pink.

When I returned to the kitchen I meet Ethan,

-“man, I’m gonna head out, my parents are expecting me, besides my step-sister is now home”.

-“are you sure?” I asked, “You know you are free to stay and eat breakfast with us, you’re basically my brother”.

-“yeah I’m sure, anyway thanks for the offer “
