Happiness. She's a tease isn't she? She comes and goes as she pleases. It's amazing. You'd think she'd want to stay. You'd think she would notice how much you've been missing her sweet touch. Yet, for someone with the denotation that she has, she's petty. Take her for granted once and she'll forget she was ever appreciated. Then she leaves. You miss her more and more until she comes back and you say you'll never take her for granted again. Then you do. Repeat that and you've got the game that she plays. She's afraid of commitment yet gets angry when you're not committed to her. It's crazy how much she flaunts herself in front of those who don't know her as well as others. She knows that no matter how much or how little she's there, you'll wish she never left.
See, the more she's there the more you get attached. You get used to the idea of her. You get used to hugging her, holding her in you embrace. You forget what it's like not to have her. She's so sweet that you never want to let her go. On the other hand, when she's there for so little, you're filled with such excitement and adrenaline that it overpowers you. And just as you're embracing the warm breeze that she has to offer, a cold, heavy breeze replaces her. There's no good or bad way to lose her. She's the love you'll always want to have. The one you'll never forget. So many things can attract her to you, but so many more can make her disappear. She really is a tease. She's the kind of tease you never want to stop getting. Happiness? Yeah she's lovely alright, but only when she's on your side.
