As much as I love Xavier; I always hate the first day back from a break. I hate the way the freshmen stare... like they're so much better than you. The teachers giving all too welcoming hugs, the boys from the neighboring sports academy hanging around the drop off loop; staring at girls as they flirtatiously swing their hips and flutter their eyelashes.
It all made my stomach churn. I wasn't like those girls, or those freshmen. I knew my place; in the back where only my friends knew I existed. But I was okay with that. I had my own friends, waiting right inside those doors. All I had to do was get out of the limo.
"Ms. Blue, is there a reason you haven't left the limo yet? Do you need help with your bags?" asked the driver.
"No, no. I'm okay." I opened the door and swung my boots onto the concrete.
This is going to be an awesome year...
