"Kill.me.now."
"Sure thing," Dominic picked up a knife and pretended stabbing me with it. I glared at him for a while before returning my eyes to the disgusting sight that was unfolding right before me. Dominic finally picked up on what was bothering me and glanced in the same direction to have the exact same reaction as mine.
"Wow, when did that happen?" I just shrugged my shoulders in nonchalance. I shouldn't care. I shouldn't be bothered by the fact that Jenna George is locking lips with non other than Tyler.
Tyler.
His name made me shudder in guilt. What my father said to me still remained evident in my mind and I have no way of getting rid of it anytime soon. When Tyler and Jenna have finished eating each other, they came over to our table. Tyler noticing my disapproving glance shot me a small smile.
"So, Tyler, are you gonna introduce this lovely lady to us?" Dominic spoke first, trying to break the awkward silence that was between us.
Tyler, thankful for an intervene, replied almost instantly. "This is Jenna. My girlfriend." Cough, cough.
"Omg are you okay?" Jenna asked me, her eyebrows crinkling with worry as Dominic repeatedly patted my back.
I nodded quickly before drinking down a whole glass of water.
"A carrot got stuck but I'm fine," I rasped, still trying to get over it. Jenna shot me a grammy awards winning smile before flirting with Tyler more. Girlfriend? Since when? I had so many questions to ask Tyler but I had to stuff my mouth with food to hold it all in. Dominic, sensing that I was uncomfortable sent me a comforting smile and I instantly felt almost better. Almost.

School has finally ended and I couldn't wait to ask Tyler the questions that have been floating around the back of my head ever since this morning. No matter how many times he says it (Dominic sat next to me in fifth period whispering "girlfriend" ten thousand times in my ear) , I still can't believe Tyler has a girlfriend and didn't even tell me. I thought we were best friends. And don't friends tell each other almost everything? My thoughts were interrupted by a cough and I looked to see the same ocean blue eyes that betrayed our friendship. Without a word I spun on my heel and tried walking away but his hand quickly grabbed my arm.
"What do you want?" I snapped, ripping my arm from his grip.
"Someone's a little cranky," Tyler joked, still not getting the hint. But when he realized I didn't joke back like I normally would, his soft features became serious and he bumped his shoulder with mine.
"What's wrong?"
Before I could say anything, it was as if he read my mind and he let out a loud sigh. "It's about Jenna isn't it?" He seemed upset about it though I wasn't sure why. But since I could tell that he looked like he didn't want to talk about it, I decided not to say anything. Instead, I shook my head and Tyler instantly looked relieved yet curious.
"It's not?" I shook my head again.
"Then what's bothering ya?" He asked, returning to his joking self.
"Urm, ah, er, had er girl crisis and needed to go the bathroom." I stammered. Really? That's the best I could come up with? Tyler seemed confused at first but then his features softened and he nodded in understanding.
"Okay, I get it. "He raised his hands in surrender." Girls and their time of the month."
My mouth dropped. He thought I was talking about my menstruation?!
