-Darcy's POV-
*flashback to when Darcy was 6*
"Where you going mommy?" I asked my mother that was dressed in a knee length black dress with her hair pinned up in a bun.
"Mommy has to go to work baby girl, but daddy and Uncle Jared are going to be with you." She smiled at me. She grabbed the knob and opened the door. Not long later the doorbell rang. I happily opened the door to see my favorite uncle ever.
"Uncie!" I yelled with my baby like voice.
"I'm sorry Darc. I love you so much baby girl." He didn't make eye contact he just looked straight forward with pain in his eyes.
"What you talkin' bout' uncie?" I asked innocently. My dad walked up behind me and my uncle looked at him and back to me. He picked me up and threw me back down. I starting screaming in pain as they both hit, kicked, pinched, and anything else they could do to cause me pain.
I woke up screaming and sweating with my tears mixing with my sweet. Niall jumped up from my scream. He turned on the lamp beside the bed and held me close and tried to stop my sobs.
"It's ok baby.. It was just a bad dream." He told me kissing my head. I shook my head.
"No, it wasn't a dream, Niall. It was real! It happened!" I sobbed into his bare chest. He pulled me back enough to see my face. He frowned and wiped the tears away.
"It's ok. You're with me now, you're safe. I won't let them hurt you ever again. Ok?" He asked me. I nodded and attempted to smile. He smiled and kissed my head.
"I love you Princess." He told me kissing my temple.
"I love you." I smiled up at him. "I'm gonna get a shower." I tell him getting from my spot on the bed. I grabbed a new pair of shorts and Niall's t-shirt and got my way to the bathroom. Once there I grabbed the curtains swinging them back and adjusting the temperature to the right setting. I signed stripping of my clothing and getting in.
