Staying with elounor

Chapter 21

-Darcy's POV-

I closed the door to my fathers room and signed aggravated. There are so many things I want to ask him but I don't want to overwhelm him, especially after I shot him. I looked up and saw a worried looking Niall.

"You ok, baby?" I nodded and he pulled me into a comforting hug. I love Niall's hugs, they always make me feel safe and loved. I smiled and squeezed him closer to me.

"I love you." I whispered in his ear, I could feel his smile on my shoulder.

"I love you too, princess." I pulled away from the hug and kissed Niall's cheek.

"Have you ate yet?"

"I was waiting on you." He smiled down at me. I fake gasped.

"THE Niall Horan waited for his girlfriend to go get FOOD?!" I was actually surprised by this, not by the sweet gesture, but the waiting for food.. He has never waited for food before.

Niall grabbed my hand with a huff and dragged me behind him to the car, while I'm laughing at his pouty face. When we got to the car he was still pouting so when he opened the passenger car door for me I quickly pecked his pouted lips and a huge smile came across his face. I giggled and got in the car.
All I remember after that is falling asleep.

*FLASHBACK* Darc is 5

"Hi daddy." I smiled up at my dad sitting on the island stool eating cereal.

"Hi Darcy." He smiled sadly. I climbed up on the stool next to my fathers.

"What wrong daddy?"

"Nothing Darcy." He didn't look in my eyes.

"Then why you sad?" I asked.

"Don't worry about it. Ok?" I nodded and climbed back down from the stool.

"Can you play with me daddy?" I ask.

"Why won't you leave me alone?!" he screamed angrily and kicked me in the stomach. I started crying and saying 'sorry' over and over again. He just beat me and beat me. The first team he has ever been aggressive towards me.

*END FLASHBACK*

"Darc? You alright baby?" Niall asked with worry in his eyes. I nodded.

"I'm fine Ni." I lied. I am far from fine, in fact i'm anything but. I just had a dream about the FIRST time my dad started beating me. I remeber that night like it was yesterday. My dad stayed up all night sobbing that night. my mind back then thought he was sorry and that the next day he would say he was sorry and never do it again but he never stopped. The last time my dad hit me before yesterday was 6 months ago.. Time has just flown by..

"Are you sure? Why are you crying?" He pulled into a parking spot in front of nandoes and shut off the car looking to me for an answer.

"I'm fine. I just had a.. uh.. dream." I admited but never made eye contact. He nodded and wiped the tears from my eyes.

"Lets go eat!" He opened the passenger door for me after walking around the car. When we got in we were lead to a small booth in the corner of the restaurant that only fit 1 person on each side of the booth. not to long later a sweet lady about 60 came and took our order for our drinks.

"I want a coke.

"I'll take a sweet tea." I smiled sweetly at the lady. She nodded.

"are you two ready to order food or do you need more time?" annabell asked us. I looked to Niall to see if he was ready and sure enough we were both ready.

"Yes ma'am." I smiled "I would like some perri perri chicken." She nodded and took my menu while looking to Niall for his order.

"The usual." She nodded and went to put the order in.

"The usual? You have a usual here?" He nodded and took a sip of his coke. "What is your usual?" I cocked my eyebrow.

"The whole menu." My eyes went wide and he just shrugged nonchalantly.

Our meal took longer than usual because Niall got his usual.. So it took about 45-50 minutes for ALL of our food go come out.
Niall finished all of the food alone but a double chicken breast fillet pita, and I'm still hungry. We reach for it at the same time. I blushed and pulled away.

"Sorry." I mumbled and he laughed.

"You're cute when ya' blush. You can have it by the way, princess." He smiled
and leaned over to peck my lips.

"Thanks, Ni." I kissed back and ate the whole fillet.

Niall payed and we left.
