Ashley's P.O.V

Two days ago Harry told me everything; I mean everything concerning his and Dré's shared past. After he ran out I ran after him but he was long gone. I've texted him nonstop but he hasn't replied. Not once.

I wake up quite early without the help of my alarm and make my way to the bathroom. After getting ready for the day with a heavy heart and an over packed mind I take a peak outside of my window to discover that the day already looks cloudy and rainy day. Not at all appropriate for the summer dress I had planned yesterday evening to try and take my mind off Harry's confession.

I slip on black skinny jeans and a baggy jumper before picking up my college bag and reaching for my phone I make my way downstairs.

As I swing down the bottom step of the stairs I hear my parents discussing, well loudly talking, about God knows what. I creep into the kitchen and watch my parents bicker. My dad spots me first and does a double take before opening up his paper. My mum catches on and sees me standing in the door way.

"How long have you been there petal?" She asks with a questionable tone.

"Not long Mum needn't worry." I playfully ring to annoy her as I set my bag down on the counter so I can have breakfast.

Mum pushes her hair back out of her way and wipes down the front of her apron. She then picks up the milk and puts it before me.

"Sorry about all the noise Ash, me and your father. Well. Let's just say we got carried away in our discussion. But..." She pauses and puts on what I think is a brave face and smiles at me, glancing to my father and then back at me again before continuing.

"We were just discussing unnecessary problems."

As soon as she finishes her transparent explanation, dad gets up and pushed the paper aside sighing loudly. "Just tell her, she will need to know and its better that she does now."

I stop eating my cereal and furrow my eyebrows in confusion. Mum sighs in defeat and dramatically lets her stiff shoulders sink.

"Your aunt, Aunt Marie, you know, blonde hair, blue eyes, has the voice of a mouse-"

"Mum, just tell me what's going on." I interrupt.

She looks back at my father who nods his head slightly. "She tried to commit suicide last night."

My spoon drops out of my hand and lands in my bowl with a loud clang. Aunt Marie, oh God!

"Don't worry she failed!" Mom says quickly to put my horrid thoughts aside. "But she needs to be watched for a few days just in case. Your father and I need to go. I need to support her and your father has to take control of her business."

As words come out of her mouth, I'm beyond shocked! Marie has always been such a chilled out lady, never letting life get her down. She has a husband, nice house and a perfect job to fit her perfect son's lifestyle. What happened?

"Oh," I reply. As harsh as my short words sound, I'm baffled as to what to say.

"So Ash, we need to make arrangements for you. I don't want this to affect your studies again so I want you to stay but not here, not alone anyway. I have discussed things with Ellie's mother and she is more than happy to have you for a week or so..." She swiftly finishes.

I put the bowl down and push it away but am quickly greeted with a puzzled look from dad.

"Darling, you only just put the milk in, eat up. Please don't let this affect you." He places his hand on my shoulder before squeezing gently and excuses himself.
