"Janny!" Rayeon shouted as she saw Janny sitting outside the waiting area. "How is Amber?" She asked.

"EXO members, together with their manager, are currently in the ICU right now while Eunyoung eonni..." (a/n: ICU - Intensive Care Unit) She paused and started crying again.

"Ah.. Eotteohke..?Uljima.." (What to do? Stop crying..) Rayeon started panicking for she actually don't know how to comfort someone. She tried to pat her back lightly and hugged her. She felt like Janny already stopped crying and was just shaking. She held her hands and her hands was so cold.

"Geunyeoneun naebu ajikdo.." (She's still inside.) She mumbled.

"T-The operation's not yet done?" Rayeon said, trying to confirm and Janny nodded. "Ah, eotteohkehaeyahapnikka? Rayeon, saenggaghada." (What should I do? Think.) She told herself. She looked at Janny who seemed so soulless right now. She looked at her watch and saw the time. It was already 9PM.

"I think we should have our dinner for awhile." She said.

"But I can't go out of the hospital-"

"Don't worry, I'll just call for a delivery." Rayeon said and picked her phone and called. They were silent for awhile when the delivery arrived.

She paid for the meal and put it aside. She then looked at Janny, then smiled at her as she pat her head.

"Meokja." (Let's eat.) She said and gave her the food. Janny looked at her, sighed and smiled, then accepted it. Rayeon smiled back and then they both started eating.

Four months later...

"It's good to be back here in Los Angeles!" Inspector Hwang, well technically Amber, shouted as they arrived in the airport.

"You look really excited, eonni."

"I am, though." She answered. "I miss this LA vibe!" She said and started jumping. The people kept looking at her, thinking she's weird but she don't care. Atlast, they're back in their hometown!

"Hey there, Amber!" Someone called her. It was Jackson, a really close friend of her. "How have you been?" He asked and they hugged.

"I'm fine! It's been a long time!" She said.

"It surely was. Is this Janny? Woah, you've grown." Jackson said, amazed.

"Of course, Jackson. It's been years, it would be embarassing if I remained small forevs." Janny said, quoting the shortcut word of forever.

"But you still haven't change, you silly kid." Jackson said and ruined her hair.

"Don't touch my hair! And I ain't silly! Plus, I ain't a kid!" She said and she fixed her hair again. Jackson and Amber just laughed at her.

Ever wonder why Amber is in Los Angeles right now?

Well, here's a quick flashback for you.

Inspector Hwang got discharged two weeks after EXO was. As soon as she got home, Chief Inspector Song went to her house to tell her something.

"Oh, Chief, what are you doing here?"

"The main reason why I let you guard EXO is because of the death threats. And now the threats are gone, you are done with your mission. Congratulations, Inspector Hwang. You succeeded once again." Chief Inspector Song said and offered a handshake. She accepted it but she was speechless. She actually don't know what to feel. Should she be happy? Or should she be sad? Happy because it's done and she succeeded.. Yet sad, because she won't be able to see them again?

"Isn't.. Isn't the contract for six months?" She said.

"But it's written in the contract too that once the main suspect is already caught, the mission will be stopped and deemed success." He answered. She sighed and forced a smile. "By the way, I'm setting you free."

"Museun soriya?" (What are you talking about?)

"Have a two years leave. You have been busy for how many years. It's now your time to have that two years leave. Go to places you want to." She nodded and thought of something. "I'll be going." He said and she bowed, then he left the house.

She closed her eyes.

Los Angeles, California.. That place is calling her.

-

Present time

She wasn't expecting for her to be too attached to the boys. She left without telling them she would be leaving. And now she already arrived in LA, she thought she should start a new life. A normal life with her sister. Without being worried about her clients and job..

"Eonni, mwohae? Jackson is already waiting!" (What are you doing?) Janny shouted which made Amber come back into her senses.

"Ah, yeah, I'm coming!" She said and carried their stroller and put it immediately at the back of Jackson's car.

"You should call me Jackson oppa since you came from Korea." Jackson told Janny while driving.

"It doesn't mean that I came from Korea means I'm going to bring their culture here! Pabo." (Idiot.) She said.

"Well, you just said a Korean word. What was that mean?"

"It means idiot, you idiot." She said.

"Chill."

"Whatever." Janny said and turned to Amber. "You can do skateboarding again, eonni!" She said and even clapped her hands.

"Yup, and I can meet a lot of my friends here."

"Sure thing. I'm excited about my new school, though." She said.

"Fix your English grammar first, maybe you forgot how to speak in full English." Amber told her.

"Of course I haven't forgot. How stupid of me if I would." Janny said in English and with an accent.

"You're really stupid even if you won't forget, y'know." Jackson said and Janny punched started punching him on his arm.

"Ow! Stop punching me, I'm driving kid!" He added.

"I'm not a kid, anymore! You're the one who's stupid." Seeing this, Amber just laughed at them. It's becoming more normal again. This is how her little sister act when she's in LA, well apparently with Jackson.

Now they're here in Los Angeles, it's time for a change. A good change.

And this..

Is where the real story begins...

Where she will met them in an unexpected time and place.
