Inspector Hwang slowly opened her eyes and started stretching. But she felt different when the couch is too soft and she can feel a lot of pillows around her. She sat down and roamed her eyes. Then, she realized she fell asleep while listening to Chen singing. And she also realized that she's not sleeping on the couch.

She looked at where the couch was placed and saw Chen, sleeping so soundly but he kind of looked uncomfortable in his position. She immediately fold the blanket and arranged the bed, then she went near Chen and tapped his cheeks lightly.

"Hey, Mister Kim. Wake up." She said but he just grunted. "Mister Kim Jongdae, you should go to your bed now. You need to sleep properly." She added and tapped his cheeks stronger than before. Chen slowly opened his eyes and saw her angelic face.

I think I just saw a blessing. He thought.

"Good morning." He said, softly.

"Good morning, too, but I think you should go back to your bed. I should be the one sleeping here, not you. You seemed so uncomfortable and-" 

"I'm fine, okay." He said to cut her off. "Plus, I don't think I can go back to sleep now. I'll just grab some coffee." He added and she just nodded at him. Chen stood up, folded the blanket he used and went out of the room. Inspector Hwang followed him, for she felt kind of hungry, too. She opened the fridge and took a cold coffee that she bought yesterday, took some bread and ate it together with the coffee.

"Why don't you like drinking hot coffee?" Chen asked, while having a sip.

"No reason, ayy wait, I think I can't take too much hotness." She answered. Chen smirked at her and she looked at him weirdly. "What's with the smirk?" She asked.

"You can't take too much hotness?" He asked, and she nodded innocently. "Aren't we hot?" He asked playfully. She face-palmed as he heard his statement. 

"Seriously?" She mumbled. "I mean, literally." She said, quoting the word literally. Chen just laughed at her and she just let out a small smile.

EXO members are already preparing for their special performance on Music Bank, and Inspector Hwang is with them at the backstage. They were discussing about their steps, trying to recall it again so they won't forget.

"Good luck, hwaiting!" She cheered for them and they all smiled at her as a sign of gratitude. After some minutes, their group was already called to come out in the stage. They waved at her and they went in the stage. She looked at their performance at the backstage, admiring how good are they at dancing and how they were performing the song live.

She was enjoying watching them when someone tapped her shoulder. She looked at her back and saw two familiar faces. It was SHINee's Key and Minho. Her eyes widened and she tried to avoid them and run but Minho immediately pulled her back. She want to beat them up (but she can't because it'll cause chaos especially they're idols).

"Why are you running away from us?" Minho asked.

"You can't run away from us. Not this time again, Amber Josephine." Key said. Inspector Hwang just sighed and faced them, but she's still not looking at them.

"Didn't you miss us?" Key asked but she didn't answer. "Why won't you talk?" He asked once again. She just slightly shook her head.

"I know, it's weird to see the both of us together. I know we both fought for your heart but you chose that Kris over us-" Minho was cut off when Inspector Hwang said, "Shut up." And looked at him like he would kill him any moment.

"Chill, okay." He said. "How was your relationship going?" He asked.

"What?" She asked, dumb-founded.

"Don't tell me you broke up?" Key asked and she nodded slowly. "So, can we try courting you again?" He asked. She looked at him with disbelief.

"Are you even serious?" She asked and both of them nodded. "I don't have time for that, for now. I still have my sister and I am dedicated to my work." She answered and looked away. As soon as she looked away, she saw nine men walking towards her. She didn't notice that EXO's performance has already ended because of this two men.

"Oh, annyeonghaseyo Minho sunbaenim, Key sunbaenim." All members greeted politely. 

"Do you know each other?" Baekhyun asked and pointed at Inspector Hwang then at Minho and Key.

"No/YES!" Inspector Hwang answered with a no, but the two shouted yes. 

"How?" Kai and Lay asked at the same time, and looked at them.

"We were courting her before-"

"Aish, jinjja geumanhae!" (Stop it!) Inspector Hwang shouted. Key and Minho just laughed.

"They were courting you before?" Xiumin asked.

"Let's not talk about the past, hyung." She answered. "Gayo." (Let's go) She told the EXO members and they all nodded, and bowed at Minho and Key. Then, they all followed Inspector Hwang and their manager to the parking area.

"She still haven't changed." Minho said and smirked.

"I know." Key answered and smirked, too.

"It seems like we still don't know a lot about you." D.O said while leaning towards the table. They were all in a café near the place and they're trying to ask Inspector Hwang about the earlier scene.

"You actually don't." Inspector Hwang answered as she took a sip of her fruit juice. "You haven't seen the half of me yet, either." She added.

"Can we?" Chanyeol asked in his deep voice. She shrugged.

"I don't know. It's not my responsibility anways to tell you who I am. I am just working for you, I am just here to protect you." She answered. Their jaw were wide open after she said that. They were obviously suprised with her answer.

"But you're like a s-sister to us!" Sehun mumbled.

"Majayo." (That's right) Suho agreed. [a/n: that's right, my type. oops sorry //flies away]

"It's for you to find out." She said. She looked at her watch and saw the time and said, "Let's go, you still have to attend a show." 

They all nodded and paid for their orders, then went out of the café, then their manager drove their way to the next location.

From afar, you can see a parked car and a man looking at EXO's van..

That night..

Chief Inspector calling..

"Hello, Chief?"

["How was it going?"]

"Everything is good, nothing is suspicious and they're alright." She answered.

["Good to hear that. Just keep your eyes on them, I think we're getting a lead to whom the threat actually came from."]

"It's not Mister Ahn?"

["It's not. He was just used to cover the real suspect and he was also frame-upped. But he actually wants to kill Sehun and Suho, actually."]

"Oh, guraeyo? Then, I will do my best, Chief. Thank you for reporting."

["Always, Inspector Hwang. Have a good night."]

"You too, Chief." She answered.

A/N: I'm sorry if there isn't any moments here, (well there's a small ChenBer moment here ehem and a KeyMinBer too), I just need to focus for the real reason why she is with EXO. Anyways, hope you still enjoyed. ;)
