"Hey grandfather, come check this hoof print out. It must've been made by a giant." called out Susan.

Fire and the Doctor soon followed afterwards outside of the Tardis.

"It's probably just a natural hoof print. The sun could've melted the snow around the edges." said Fire.

"It seems quite legible to me." said the Doctor before trotting back into the Tardis.

"Where do you think we are?" asked Berry.

"Seems like the roof of the world to me." said Susan.

"The roof of the world...could be the Alps." said Fire.

"Or the Andes" replied Berry.

"Or the Himalayas." Susan replied back.

The Doctor then sputtered and coughed as he walked out of the Tardis.

"It's no use, all the power has been drained for now, and the food machine has no water." said the Doctor holding a hanky to his muzzle.

"No need for water, we've got snow. What about the heating?" asked Fire.

"It's no use, even if we find the fault it'll be night fall and we'll all freeze to death!" exclaimed the Doctor.

"Well maybe we could find some spare parts around here, or someone who can help." replied Fire.

"Dear colt, where do you think we could find such things in a mountain range, hmm?" asked the Doctor angrily.

"Well we can try." said Fire trying to calm the situation down.

"Maybe Fire and I could look for a camp of some sort." said Berry.

"Can I come?" asked Susan.

"No my filly, you should come with me to see if we can fix the ship." said the Doctor.

"Oh alright." said Susan walking into the ship.

Meanwhile, Berry and Fire were deeper into a valley nearby. But it all came to a halt when Berry screamed, seeing a cloaked figure hiding behind a rock.

"What is it Berry?" asked Fire.

"I-I thought I saw me something staring at me." stammered Berry.

Fire gave back a stare of disbelief.

"You don't believe me do you?" asked Berry.

Fire sighed.

"Well then I'll prove it. Have a look at these tracks." said Berry pointing to a set of tracks behind the rock she saw the cloaked creature hide behind.

"I'd better take you back to the ship Berry." said Fire hugging Berry.

Back at the ship the Doctor and Susan we looking at a slightly burnt circuit, wondering what to do.

"I could make and repair a new circuit... But it'd take us days! Possibly even a week to get us back and running again." said the Doctor disappointed.

"Seems that you are right Doctor, nothing here but snow and ice." said Fire walking over to the Doctor.

"But there was something, I saw it hide behind a rock. It got away though."
sighed Berry.

"Er...we did find some prints, but nothing else." said Fire.

"What kind? Paws ,hooves?" asked the Doctor.

"To be honest, I thought it came from a fur boots." said Fire worried.

"Grandfather look!" yelled Susan pointing at a Zebra in a fur cloak.

"Quick filly, we may be able to find shelter." said the Doctor trying to follow the Zebra's trail.

Back in the valley, the trail came to an end.

"Where do you think he went?" asked Fire.

It wasn't long before Susan screamed again as they were surrounded by a full tribe of Zebra.

"No worries my filly, I'm sure they're friendly." whispered the Doctor.

"Kill them." said the leader of the tribe.

The Zebra tribe began to close in on the Doctor and his companions.

"Stop!" said a dark brown earth pony stallion with a black mane.

"But they are evil spirits and have come to kill!" yelled the tribe leader angrily.

"I command you in the name of Kublai Khan." said the earth pony.

The tribe then began to lower their weapons and backed away.

"Follow me."said the earth pony trotting towards a large red wagon.

"Who do you think he is?" asked Susan to Berry.

"I was asking myself the same question." replied Berry.

Meanwhile, back at camp, a young orange filly was preparing tea. The dark brown earth pony walked in with the rest of his stallions and the Tardis crew.

"How's the tea coming Mango?" asked the brown earth pony.

"Very well, father." replied Mango.

"I'm sorry that the fire isn't warm. There's a strange magic in these mountains preventing the fire from being very warm." said the Earth pony.

"That's not magic, it's the high altitude of the mountain with the lack of air." replied Fire.

"That also explains my splitting headache." joked the Doctor.

"Does your name happen to be Compass Needle?" asked Berry.

"Why yes, how'd you guess that?" asked Compass.

"You're a very well known traveler in our parts." replied Fire.

"So you're a Veneighcian too, if I may ask?" asked Compass.

"Not exactly, but we're from around the area." said Susan replying to Compass's question.

"Then who might you be?" asked Compass.

"I'm Fire Heart , the older mare is Berry Blossom, and the young filly is Susan, and the oldest stallion is called the Doctor." introduced Fire.

"You must be very tired. Susan, you can share your tent with Mango while I'll be with Miss Blossom. Doctor and Fire, you can sleep in the tent with the supplies." said Compass.

"I have but one question to ask, where are we and what year is it?" asked the Doctor.
