Servant for a month

Chapter 1

Lisa's p.o.v

"Oh my god Lisa!! I love your skirt!" My best friend Laura screamed at me when I walked into school on the first day. Of course she loved it, it was 45$ and she was probably going to borrow it. She rambled on about how she went to Europe over the summer with her parents and how beautiful it was, but I want paying attention cause I was looking for my boyfriend Josh.

I saw him down the hallway talking to a bunch of his friends and hurried over to him. "Hey babe" I said and kissed him on the cheek.

"Hey beautiful, how was your summer?" He asked me and kissed me on the lips. To be honest it really wasn't that fun, I barely did anything because my parents were never home and when they were they were drunk and yelling at me or hitting me.

"Great" I lied "how was yours?". He was saying something about a football game when his friend Chris interrupted him.

"Hey look, it's Andrew that stupid nerd from last year. Hey!!" He yelled at him from across the hall. When Andrew didn't look over at him, Chris walked over there and pushed him into the locker and his books fell onto the floor.

"I said hey" Chris yelled in his face and I think he whimpered a little out of fear. I mean Chris Is like 6" 2, who wouldn't be scared of him. "You're gonna do all my history homework this year alright?" He asked even though it wasn't really a question.

"Yes Chris" Andrew said, he sounded so helpless and scared. "Mine too" Josh said and I hit him in the arm. "What? I'm not gonna pass up not doing homework" he said to me and pushed me away a little.

It hurt a little but whatever. Finally the bell rang and Andrew quickly made his way to science class which Josh, Chris, Laura and I were all in. We took our seats and I had Laura on my. Left and Josh sharing a table with me.

Mr. Gibson stated off by giving us a quick revision sheet and after we corrected it ourself with the texts book. "Mr. Gibson, I can't find the answer to number 11" I said to him. "Very well, Andrew can you help her find it please?"

Andrew walked over to me and started flipping through the pages. "What's that I see? Does little Andrew have a boner?" Josh said and him and Chris started laughing. Andrews cheeks went immediately red and he just said "check page 64" then walked away quickly.

"That wasn't very nice Josh" I said and he just gave me a look that says 'who cares?' I found the answer and I had it right anyways so I finished correcting my paper and handed it in.

The rest of the morning flew by and it was already lunch. I went to sit down by Laura but Chris took the seat while Amy, one of my other friends, was on the other side. So I sat in between Chris and Josh. Josh's brother Mark kept talking about how he spent most of his summer having sex and partying and we were all just laughing at him because we didn't believe him.

I looked past Marks head and saw Andrew starring at me but the second we made eye contact his eyes fled away and he got up to put is tray away. While he walked past out table Chris tripped him and he landed face first into his food.

"HA LOSER!" all of them laughed and he just walked away trying to get the spaghetti off his shirt. The lunch bell rang and we all went to class. In English I had none of my close fiends in so I decided to sit down at a table where no one was sitting by.

Andrew came in late with a different shirt on and looked around for a seat. "Andrew please take a seat, there's one over there by Lisa" Mme. McCarthy said pointing at the empty seat. He slowly walked over and sat by me not wanting to make eye contact because of what had happened at lunch.

"Okay class we are going to start a project on studying a famous person of you and your partners choice, you two together, you two together, you two together..." She carried on and I just hoped that I'd be with the girl beside me, she seemed cool. "You two together" she said pointing at me and Andrew. No! I can't be stuck with the nerd! He looked over at me and smiled shyly.

" We can start after school at my place" I said since he wasn't talking and he was just sitting there awkwardly. He nodded and I wrote down my address and gave it to him. I just hope my mom will still be at work, I already know my dad will be. The rest of the class we just started reading a book but I mostly just texted Josh.

Me: hey can I get a ride today?

Josh: sure babe wanna come over later?

Me: can't gotta work on a project sry

Josh: whatever meet me outside at 3:45

Me: bye love you

Josh: bye see you later

The bell rang and I went to out my books away. I looked in my mirror and the makeup covering my black eye my mom gave me was fading a bit so I headed to the bathroom to fix it up. After I was done I headed to class.

When I went to meet Josh he was waiting by his car talking to bunch of girls, laughing and smiling. I walked over there and cleared my throat and glared at the girls. When they didn't walk away I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him passionately and all the girls walked away.

"Why hello to you too" he laughed and smiled. We got in the car and the drive was silent. Its a short drive to my house so we got there pretty soon and I said bye and walked in my house.
