Andrew's P.O.V
"ummmm.... i uhh, no i didn't read anything" Lisa tells me and i grab my book from her. If she would have i would have been so embarassed. The songs in here all suck any ways. She walks away without another word and i start to class. Ever since i was about 14 i started writing, modtly just dumb storys and stuff and i didn't get into songs until i was about 16.
Ever since i went to her house that day and found out about that, i have felt so bad. But its time that im not the only one who gets pushed around and told what to do in this school. i mean, i know that its a super mean thing to do and i feel horrible but i just cant deal with this anymore. I walk into Science and go take my seat. its been easy to avoid Lisa but now i have to spend an entire period sitting in a class with her.
She walks in with Josh -ehh- and takes her seat two rows ahead of me.She covered up her bruise very well i'm not suroprised no one knows. Josh kisses her and sits down when the teacher walks in and starts the class.
"Alright everyone, I hope you've all started your projects," he says, "and i want you to know that i expect this project to be done by the deadline, no late exceptions."
Lisa scratchs her head and turns towards me just barely and raises an eyebrow, which im guessing means that she expects me to get it done by then. I nod lightly and she turnes back around, doodling in her notebook. I open my song book and flip through the pages, checking if anything is missing or ruined or something but it remained unharmed luckily.
He gives us a small worksheet to fill out on what our project will be about and i hand it back to him at the end of class. As soon as the bell rings i zip out of the room straight to the parking lot and through the front gates.
I always enjoyed walking hime, it's like my own little escaoe from reality, I can be whoever because no one on the street knows who I am. I can just be me. As soon as I walk through the door I head up to my room and start to tidy it up a little bit, leaving everything I dont want to do, to her. All I clean is my boxers up off the ground and I dump out my trash, not wanting her to come across one of my failed songs I attempted to write.
I change into some sweats and a loose tank top with a band I kike on the frint and sit in the kitchen eating a bowl of cereal. The doorbell rings and I head to the front to open it, revealing an extremely pissed off looking Lisa. She glares at me not bothering to say hello and I move aside to let her in.
"So what first?," she asks and I look around not exactly sure.
"W-well my laundry coukd use a g-good cleaning, " I told her, walking towards my bedroom and taking a seat on the edge of my bed. I pointed to my overflowing laundry basket and she rolled her eyes.
"You're a geek, aren't you supposed to have some crazy ckean room with everything perfectly folded away?," she jokes, smirking at me.
"I am not a geek. Just because I have glasses, do good in school, and don't have any friends I'm considered a geek?," I say, but as soon as it comes out of my mouth I realized how it sounded. I rolled my eyes when she put her hand out like a "duh" motion.
"Where's the laundry room?," she asks, and I walk away, gesturing for her to follow me. The laundry room is in the basement and I've actually always been kinda scared of my basement, it's so dark and cold and creepy.
"You expect me to go down there?," she half yells. I give her a look and she huffs a breath, taking a few steps down, looking back up at me.
"D-dont worry, you wont die.... I h-hope," I joke and she makes a mocking face taking the last few steps down. I walk my away back to the kitchen to finish my cereal and hear the washer start up. After I finish rinsing my bowl, I put it with the rest of the dishes beside the sink. The cons of not having a dishwasher: having to hand wash, the pros of having a servant: she can wash them for you.
I tell her that the dishes should be next, and I sit at the little island in the middle, flipoing through the channels on our old small tv we keep in here. I stop on a music video channel and listen to some, watching how weird the videos of this generation are. When a song comes on wuth these four biys singingm with clothing falling from the sky down towards them, Lisa mutters along with the words.
"W-who are these guys?," I ask her and she gives me a dumbfounded look.
"Wow. You really need to get into the new music,' she scoffs and I shake my head.
"I am perfectly f-fine with the music I l-listen to," I say quietly and I swear I can practically feel her roll her eyes from here. As I walk over to the living room I hear a smash and come running back into the kitchen.
"Oh my god Andrew, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to!," she yells, bendinf down and picking up pieces of glass from the plate she just broke.
"No no, its fine. Theres a broom in the closet, dont do that or you'll cut your hand," I tell her, not stuttering one bit. She stands up and goes to the other side, bending down to grab the dust pan and I couldn't help but look. Hwen she turned around my eyes still oingered and whenni looked up she was smirking at me. I blushed and looked down at my hands, stepping back to the dining table and taking a seat.
"I saw that," she said and I gave her an inoccent look, trying to play it off.
"Saw what?," I asked.
"I saw you starung at my ass," she stated and my eyes widened.
"I-uh-I-um... sorry," I struggled with my words. She walked over to me and I gluped down my saliva, not having the nerve to look up at her.
"Its fine," she said, putting her hand under my chin making me look at her. She had a devilish look in her eyes and I quickly stood up and backed into the living room.
"Once y-youre dont the dishes, you c-can go h-home," I said and quickly turned the corner down the hall to my room. I sat on my bed and shook my head. Andrew, she obviously wasn't going to do anything with you, why'd you freak out? I thought to myself. She has a boyfriend, I kept thinking.
I jumped when I heard a knock on my door and Lisa's head peeked in. "Just wanted to let you know that I'm leaving," she said and shut the door before I had a chance to reply. Jeez that girl could change her emotions so fast, I think this just might be worse than I thought having her be my servant.
