(Geoff POV)
  Daddy came home late that night. he was screaming, yelling, angry. I was supposed to be in bed. but I couldn't sleep. I couldn't sleep knowing that daddy wasn't going to be home all night.
  I walked into the living room to see daddy stumbling aroung the room, holding on to anything he could.
  "daddy?" I asked quietly. he looked at me wearily.
  "what the hell do you want??" he yelled at me. I looked down. he seemed very angry. why was he acting this way? he almost never yelled at me!
  "I-I was just wondering why you came home s-so late..." I mumbled. he lifted my chin up roughly. I whimpered.
  "listen, so what if I want to get a fucking drink once in a while, okay?? so what if I want to go hang out with friends?? you shouldn't be able to stop me, goddamnit!" he screamed that last part. I jerked away from him and ran to my room. I didn't understand. was he drunk? daddy said I wasn't allowed to have alcohol. is that what was making him this way?
~~time skip to the next morning~~
(Geoff POV)
  I woke up the next morning remembering what had happened last night. I shakily got out of bed and put my jumper and pink skirt on. after that I headed downstairs to see if daddy was awake. hopefully he could explain what happened.
  "good morning babydoll," he said tiredly, rubbing his eyes. I let out a quick and quiet "hi" before sitting down at the table.
  "are you ok princess? what's wrong?" he asked, brushing the loose hair out of my face. I flinched.
  "w-well...last night you came home really late. I was up past my bed time because I couldn't sleep knowing you were gone. I-I'm sorry I broke one of our rules, daddy. you were walking funny and yelling at me. I-I was scared. you used swear words...you said that y-you went out to 'have a drink with friends,'" I explained. he looked at me wide-eyed before embracing me in a tight hug.
  he kissed my head sweetly. he then looked at me. "oh, baby. let me tell you what happened. some of daddy's friends came by late at night and took daddy out of the house. they gave me lots of alcohol, which is a big no-no (a/n: *cringes in distance*). I came
home drunk, which was not my intention. I am so, so, so sorry for that, little one. don't hold me accountable for anything I said last night. do you forgive me?" he said hastily. the only thing I did was nod and smile.
  after that, he made us breakfast and we cuddled and watched Disney movies (my absolute favourite). daddy planted a soft kiss on my lips.
  "I love you, kitten. never forget that."
  "I love you too, Daddy..."
