I think it was pretty well done.
She still has the same color palette, but her eyes are GREEN.
The reason for this is because, on genocide, she acted like her mother, therfore, her eyes were coloured red.
Her eyes are green because, you guessed it, she acted like her pacifistic father. Asriel. So, her eyes are coloured green.
