Chapter 2-I Will Always Love You...

Eddy's POV

I must have fallen asleep because I woke up at 8:00am,I got dressed,ate breakfast and walked outside. I looked to the wolves cage he had cuts covering his face and legs. He looked at me and whined. I looked around and grabbed small rock and walked up to the cage,he saw me holding the rock and whined I stopped about 5 feet in front of the cage. "Why do they do this to you...?" I thought to myself as I turned and walked away from the cage. I grabbed my bow that I used for target shooting and went into the woods(I toke my bow just in case.) I climbed my favorite tree,it was a large willow tree that sat in a clearing. I saw a deer below me and I smiled then frowned as I noticed it limping and had a gun shot wound on her left hind leg. I drew my bow back aiming at its neck "you won't suffer anymore" I thought as I aimed at the does neck. I stopped, as I heard growling three wolves came from the brush cornering the deer against the tree. "I get to see this first hand!" I thought excitedly, some people say its animal cruelty to let them hunt but,predators keep the population of prey in check,by killing off the injured and sick. I watched from my high perch as one of the wolves lunged and tore the neck of the deer,the deer fell and struggled for about 30 seconds before dying. Its not cruel because the deer didn't suffer . Then it hit me "how am I gonna get down?" I gulped as I knew I'd most likely get attacked if I got down,I watched as the three wolves dragged the deer from under the tree and into the brush. I climbed down from the tree and ran back to our village. I stopped trying not to let a tear fall from my eyes as I watched the wolf being torn out of the cage,thrown to the ground and...beaten with metal pole, he was yelping .He was then thrown roughly thrown back into the small metal cage and had rocks thrown at him. I ran into my room crying I couldn't watch him suffer.

Kodi POV

I woke up to a piercing pain in my side,a new pain. "Great...the pain just stopped.." I opened my eyes to see people throwing rocks, it was so loud,the rocks clanging on the metal. After a while of them throwing things at my rear they threw them at my face leaving cuts. I then saw the boy run into the woods. Everything the pain the noise stopped as everything went black. I soon awoke "I must have passed out"  I yelped as I was being torn out of my small cage,the only thing protecting me form the stupid bad's. I yelped as they held my head down with the foot and began hitting me with a large metal pole I saw the nice boy run to his den crying...he really did feel bad for me.

Nova(wolf)POV

Last night was awful...no one could sleep. I missed the warm body of Kodi next to me..."why did those humans have to take my love away...ill always love you Kodi...I hope your safe with SkyWolf." I said out loud. Our alpha was sad but knew his pack needed him so he brought Kane and Bane on a hunting trip. They soon came back with a deer. We ate or meal then all sat in a circle talking. My pack was able to get over Kodi's death rather quick ,knowing he was in a safe place. I knew since I would never get over Kodi's sudden death, I would be a burden to my pack..."ill run away...as soon as I can.."I thought as I was sent out to mark the border..."perfect time to run.." so I ran. I dodged trees and kept running even when I hit unfamiliar territory, as I ran all I thought about was Kodi, and when we first met....everyday we spent together in six moons we would both be two years....and we would start our own pack...but thanks to them I'm alone and he's dead.."
