Chapter 8

Jay's POV:
I woke up in a dark room. Still unsure if I was asleep or not I tried to wake my self up by pinching my arm but my arms would not budge. The sound of keys bashing together came closer and closer.

"Wake up Ninja!!!" A deep voice pounded through the room.

The dark empty room made the voice louder than it probably was. Still half asleep someone grabbed my arms and yanked me on my feet. My head felt light from the head rush and my legs were weak from lag of food. They bring me to the top deck of the ship and put a mop on my head. The sun rays on my skin burned like I was soon to be bacon. I look around, there were pirates everywhere, each at a specific area and no where else, I felt so out of place in my blue and black GI. I look on the edge of the ship and nothing but clouds below the ship, pieces of mountains peeked from the thick white clouds.

"Get back to work Ninja or u will be walk the plank!" I mop the deck in a slow paste, the heat was getting to hot to stand, all the shades on the ship where taken by all pirates as they laugh at me, the loner ninja who is not much of a ninja than the others.

"J-jay!" a small voice echoed thought the air. In the direction on the sound was Lloyd, Cole, Nya and Y/N, hanging off the side of the floating ship.

"Guys!! Yawl here, boy am I glad to see yawl!" I drop my mop and help them onto the ship.

"NINJA!!!!" Yelled the pirates. They charged toward us with their hooks, swords and guns. Lloyd brakes my ballin-chains and we run like we have never run before. Y/N trips and falls to the floor, others kept running but I turned around and helped her up.

"No Jay, just go I'm just holding y'all back!" She said pushing me away from her. The pirates were closing in.

"I'm not leaving u Y/N" she looks to the ground and said nothing. Cole comes back and started to pull me away from y/n.

"Forget her jay we need to go." By the time he finished the pirates have already got her, she screamed for mercy but she was to weak. I look into her beautiful eyes and mouth 'I'll come back for u, I promise' I then jump off the ship with a tear in my eye, how could I give up on her, I could have fought back. Once we landed, everyone cheered in celebration but I just wandered off and sat at the edge of a cliff watching the sunset in the distance. I couldn't get that moment out of my head. What ninja leaves someone behind?
